would it be worth it to attempt to try and weld together my own metal rail?

i want to slide on metal.. already made a pvc shotgun and its alright.

i really dont know how to make a metal rail tho

i currently have a metal 2.1/2" diameter metal pole

what can i do with this?

i wouldn't plan on sliding metal in the summer time...or is it for winter?

i had the same delima. i dont like sliding pvc, it makes switch ups and tricks harder and its doesnt feel as solid. i dont have a welder so i made this rail.

same idea as a pvc one but i just bought a metal drill bit. and its sooo much better.

why wouldn't you slide it in summer?

metals always been super sticky in the summer for me, even if you wax it and water it. It depends on the type of metal i guess

main idea question here.. is it hard to weld on poles beneath for support?

or is there any other way than welding
