Messed up a customer's ski mount, what should I do?

Alright so I was a bit tired last friday when I did these, and ended up putting both of the bindings a bit.... off center. I realized the mistakes this morning, and I'm panicking since the customer's coming to pick them up tomorrow so my manager's gonna check these by the end of today. Is there anything I can do to fix these bindings?

Edit: oh yeah i forgot to mention that I accidentally put on two different heel pieces. I was really tired...

resign from your position immediately and consult a therapist and the NS legal team for when this customer sues you for negligence and a new pair of skis
 
Thought this was going to be a troll thread because of all the "shop mounted my skis wrong" threads. Disappointed.
 
You gotta tell your boss you messed up and then take whatever punishment you're given. Don't try to ghetto-fix these skis to save your ego. The shop's reputation and the skier's safety are on the line
 
Holy fuck lmao. OP, go tell your boss ASAP. It'll get you some points for being honest. When I was working at an airport in Idaho, I was carrying an air tank across the hangar, tripped, and dropped the tank, which took a bigass chunk out of the floats of a 250k custom built super cub. Major fuckup. Went to my boss asap, and told him what happened. He thanked me for coming to talk to him, and then had me fix it. Good learning experience. Would probably have gotten fired if I'd tried to play dumb.

Yeah, you're right. Thing is I made a similar mistake last week too when I mounted someone's skis backwards so my boss is already pretty pissed. But yeah I agree, I'll let him know and hope for the best

And if you are doing this shit cause you are tired, stop being tired. Get some good rest before you go in, cause if you keep fucking up you won't last long. Idk what you like to do, but don't be drinking or getting baked before you go in. Shit like that makes it easy to fuck up.
 
unmount one of the skis and remount it backwards. They'll be so pissed that they wont even notice that it's misaligned!

coincidence that this thread appears after a few “shop messed up mounting my skis” threads? UHHHH I dunno grind off one side of the ski to make the mounts centered and shid on the bathroom floor

I have a near photographic memory for skiing stuff, or anything I really like because I'll look at it and do it for hours on end. Something about that picture spoke to me, and I performed the pro gamer move known as the reverse image search and was immediately linked to that thread.

250k built super cup is maddd sick man, great airplanes, even better for ski planes to acess gnarly backcountry terrain

Yeah, it was an SQ12, custom built in Syoming. Super light, 180hp. Coolest thing about it was the stall speed, fucking 18 mph. Crazy airplane.

you cant measure from the edge of the topsheet.

mounting jigs usually refrence the metal

small batch / hand made ski company usually bevel the sidewall by hand and the angle may not be the same on either side.

try to get a square on the base and against the edge then measure from there to the binding. it is possible you didnt even mess up
