Mentor Rail Jam

i know of a handful of people that are going, should be a nice session. from what i hear there is a consistant source of snow.....

Greg(owner of little mnt.) asked me to help set things up, and i told him i would... so things should be pretty legit

uhh sorry about responding i wasn't home but obviously now you know that u didn't have to register to just ride

any suggestions or improvements about the event drop it on this forum. Sounds like there is a good chance little mountain might put on another event this fall, improved through some of the rider feedback....

I heard from a crew that splitting the boarders/skiers into 1 hr Jams would cut down on the lines and allow the Judges to focus better.

Allowing everybody to session till they were threw was dope!!!

the set up was pretty sick but i would have liked to see more stuff go down on rails rather than boxes... maybe if we could get a longer down rail set up street style...

overall the jam was fuckin sick

I vote for having a longer down rail, set up street style next time, as style should be a factor, and that was not the case in mentor. Kids were hucking meat onto the box. This will weed out 95% of the kiddies who think theyre steezballs. Even a flat bar would work.

yeah 3 differnt things is cool but if you used more snow for two bigger rails i think you would have seen the real skiers show threw

10 tons of ice has been ordered. we can get more if needed. modified wood chipper.

Event workers needed:

If you are interested in working as a Terrain Park Ranger this coming season then I'm requesting that you work as a helper for our Fall Fest Rails and Boxes Jam. I will pay $6.75 an hour for you to shovel snow, assist with crowd control, answer questions, and whatever errands need to be run. This will allow me to hand pick a dozen qualified Rangers for next season. If it doesn't work out then you still get paid to work the event. I want everyone to work a minimum of a full 8 hours. More may be requested but I also want to allow everyone a chance to compete. If hired for winter season the wage would be adjusted accordingly. Please download the application below or pick one up at our HR office at Peek'n Peak.

Or apply in person at the Human Resource Office in the Annex Building at Peek’n Peak Resort 1405 Olde Road Findley Lake NY, mail resumes to PO Box 360 Findley Lake NY 14736 or email resumes to humanresources@pknpk.com . EEO
