My progression on rails is sooooo much farther than on jumps.  I can spin on/off, switch ups, just really comfortable on rails/jibs.  Then comes the jumps. I can pretty much 180 anything with all different grabs, and whip pencil threes off litle things BUT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO A SOLID 3 ON A BIG JUMP.  I started threeing the mid size line at my mountain and it was ok, nt steezy but ok.  Then I move to the big Line, float a 270 and freeze.  Thats how I land and its starting to take a toll on my shins/confidence.  This is so frustrating. Does anyone else go through this?  Even when I whip em around with no style I feel like I'm not in control/not spotting my landing.

Just spend one entire day working on them, you will get it. Don't go for the steeze right away, that just comes with how comfortable you are with it. Keep givin'er you should be alright.

maybe try carving into your spins??... i had a lot of trouble with my 3's until i started to lay a carve into the lip... just sets your spin so nicely...

just jump around your house spinning 3s and 5s onto and off of couches and beds and what not. Its the same shit on skis. Get comfortable and just throw it.

maybe try spinning the other way... i know it sounds wierd but my friend had the same problem because he was more comfortable 180 the big things going right but he could spin bigger rotations more comfortabley spinning left.

if you are hitting a bigger kicker and plan on carving off it just hit it fast enough that you don't need to throw yourself with a massive pop but just FLOAT it, basically decompress from the carve as you ride off the lip and turn
