Mens Moguls Predictions

Yeah, I'm only seeing live scores but I wanna see the actual runs later tonight. Right now Moreau is in third but still 2 competitors left. Come on screw up

it was a good run, maybe the best turns. but just a backflip and off axis 7. good enough to win though with no mistakes.

Good event.

For all the newschoolers out there, take note; not one skier did a twister, daffy, or spread.

Maybe all the misinformed comments about how "gay" mogul jumps are can finally stop.

Oh wait, this is NS, I guess that's just wishful thinking.

Yeah, he did a double-full up top, then a cork 10 on the bottom but landed a little back and had a small hand touch.

He got underscored I thought. Not to say that he should have made the podium with the mistake, but he deserved more than a 23.

and the winning run was a back flip to the exact same cork 7 that 90% of all contestants did in both qualifiers and finals.

a few competitors mixed it up with loops and straight 7's but not many

1- Dale Begg-Smith (AUS)

2- Mikko Ronkainnen (FIN)

3- Toby Dawson (USA)

Of the top three, Toby did the best jumps (7 mute and Cork 7), but the other guys deserved the top 2 spots, their skiing was better, and their jumps were good too.

Sickest jumps of the event were Bilodeau (double-full and cork 10), and Janne Lahtela's insanely huge cork 7 at the bottom, but he just went too big and landed a bit back. Actually Gilbaut from France did a pretty massive cork 7 at the bottom too.

i think my point was people hated on the twisters and spreads cause it was the only trick anyone ever did.... welcome to the cork 7

People are going to do what it takes to score well, it's no different in freeskiing at the moment.

Want an example in Newschool skiing? Welcome to the switch 1080.

Face it, at judged events you will always see a lot of the top guys doing the same stuff.

Props to Bilodeau though for stepping up.
