Mens figure skating...

if they took out the dancing and tight clothes, figure skating would the most badass thing ever. case in point, chad michael michaels!

either way, i have mad respect for figure skaters.

1. I think that it should be less gay (no offense)

2. I think that if inverts were added, it would increase the intensity of the sport immensely.

foreal. them bitches do straight 9s an land on 1 leg. Sport may not be the manliest but those fucks got some skills.

when will figure skating turn gangster like skiing did. Next Olympics they will all be rocken tall tees and oversized clothing...

I was just having this conversation with my dad. I said if they wore tall tees and bagged their clothes like a boss it would be the best sport.

haha alright someday hopefully

if they took out all the gayness to the sport then it would be dope.

seriously though, let them just thorugh down those fat spins instead of prancing around like fairies and more dudes would watch it.

let the fairy prancing be done by female figureskaters.

I figure skate, but I hate what other people wear to compete. The makeup, hair, dress, etc. I never put a shit load of makeup on, just put my hair in a lose pony and have 1 dress thats not fancy at all. Most judges do mark you on how you present yourself though, so if your hair is in your face while skating, they usually take points off, etc.

It would be cool to wear some tall ts and baggy clothes, but it would really just get in the way...

yea... i dont really care what they do... when your a grown man prancing around like a cheerleader on ice doing a dance to ricky martin... your not going to look badass.

I cant believe this is a Olympic sport and skiing halfpipe isnt

thats a pretty narrow view. figure skateing has been around so much longer then freestyle skiing. firgure skating takes precedent over freestyle skiing any day (in the olympics)

i thought totally the same,
its a little "homo", but still it needs a lot of different skills. balance, flexibility and power obviously at a very high level. and even though it should be a little less "homo", i think it has its right in the olympics and i hate people that just hate on a sport because of its clothes. you hate it when people say that your clothes are too big but you dont think its up to you to break the chain of intolerance.

and i used "homo" to express the obvious feminine touch in mens figure skating but i didnt use it derogatory. i just thought that most of you know what i talk about when i use this word.

YUP! Thanks to watching mens figure skating last night and creeping on the "Speed skaters have the best asses", I'm going to work my butt and get the best, tightest ass ever. It has inspired me.

Extremely talented bunch of athletes, but I just can't get past the flamboyant side of it.

they are extremely talented, the couples skating is especially impressive with all the synchronization and balancing, but yes, the male side of figure skating is very very gay.

When that happens i will have such mad respect for figure skatersare the sequin and feathers really necessary?
