Member Icon?

i cant seem to get a good member icon. i struggle to get it the right size while maintaining the small file size, and when i change it to a GIF image it removes some of the colour, as you can see. how do you make a good icon?

your icons not animated, so dont make it a GIF. save it as a JPG
