Yeah, right before the finals the snow turned to ice and got quite a bit faster. The landing was sooo soft after that 4-5 inches they got as well. The jump was so sick but speed was definately an issue, almost every snowboarder cased.

yeah but the in-run in the quals was so slow, it made it real hard to clear the jump even with a slingshot (due to gallant) and sitting back on your skis.

 
nah my buddy mike convinced me it wasnt worth throwing 50 bucks i didnt really have away and like gravitity said in the quals it was wicked sketchy for speed

A few kids got DQ'ed for inverts but you had to be really inverted to get dq'ed, they were letting alot of stuff slide.
