the judging was horrible. its obvious that snowboarders cannot judge a ski compition,

how do straight seven safteys beat switch tens switch seven blunts ect.? it just doesnt make sense

the final two was also bull, when does a cork 9 beat a switch flatspin 9,

there is no way it should, neither were sketch,

and there you are retarded if you think those two tricks are even in the same realm of difficulty.

it not funny in any comp, but especially not in one with decent winnings,

oh not to mention that 6 of the eight finalists

were mount snowians, and half of them wouldnt have gotten in if a blind man had judged the

competition

the results were not post last year for the mother hucker, and there is no reason they should not be posted. u pay 50bucks u should know what place u get.. last year they claimed that the results got water damaged thats why they didnt post them..

it was a nice jump but i only got six hits outta it, i wouldve rather of hit theyre park all day, we had like a 45 min practice cuz they cut it an hour short and there was prolly 100 people including boarders so people didnt get a lotta hits

In order for a corked 7 to beat a switch flat 9, the 9 woulda have to have been so hucked and so ugly, and i doubt the kids in this comp would have been doing anything ugly cuz they all sound sick, so i def think the judging was off some

I was there for the whole thing. I hit switch and regular and i can say hittin that thing switch is 2 times more sketchy then hittin it regular just because of the in run and speed differences. Yeah Devon's cork 9 was dialed and sick but he hit it forward. WHoever that french guy was he got totally screwed out of 4th place. IT should have been pat in 1st, that devon kid in 2nd, crazy french dude in 3rd. THe judging was DEF bias considering most of the people that qualified with forward tricks started dropping in switch in the finals HMMMM geee i wonder why. Judging by how it was judged-that comp was solely judged on 'Style' nothing else. Tech difficulty did not come that much into play cause devon's cork 9s were some of the sickest I've ever seen to date. And giray's sw 10 was NOT hucked at all and its a sw fuckin 10 ok bad enough hittin that thing sw but to also land switch off with a 10 is amazing. Whatever it was a fun jump but judging was bias, comp unorganized, in run sketchy, BUT the jump was awesome. My shins still hurt.

i dont know i think the comp was legit even though i thought that all the switch should have made it specially ryan mcdermot should have made it i thought the judging was ok at the comp i dono who wins is in the judges eyes and i dont know if i shoulda won but i did its all the judges oipinion. who does everyone else think shoulda won?-devon

it's true that the peopel that qualified forwards ended up doing switch stuff in the finals

the judges were DEFINITELY looking at amplitude BIG time...which is why a HUGE misty7 beat a switch 9 that didn't get that far down the landing.

the whole thign wasn't THAT bad...they just didn't give a ton of credit to switch...bu that's beacue the forwards tricks were SUPER sick too.

it would have been a hard position to be in.

props go out to ALL the finalists, because they all deserved it, but so did Will, Erik, Giray, Ahmet (the NY crew), and more

basically, it was the worst Mega-mother-hucker since hibbert won with a 540 screamin semen like four years ago. The style was missing in all of the tech tricks. the format was definetely wacked, but the level of competition was down. Also, no one showed they have real huge balls there. Last year, Colby west had to go to the bottom of the tranny on his last jump to beat out four or five other skiers who had thrown down. This year it was a lot of low trajectory, hucked tricks, with barely any grab, which barely cleared the knoll. Overall, the sas footage captures that very well.

 
^^ haha dude. Lets see why this is so-sketchy dirt-rock in run, BIGGEST hucker jump ever, most of the cva and wva kids out west.....that explains A LOT. I thougt a lot of people threw down actually. I guess we saw a different comp I dont know. fun jump but if you hit it you know she was a bitch to clear switch.

yea dude whoever said the level was low was retarded....were you there? the in run was slow and so hard to land far down. expecially going switch it was hard even to land 5 feet down the landing. the jump was about 5 feet taller than last year and atleast 5 longer
