Mega brands

Well, vote with your dollars then, I personally have no problem with 'mega brands' and I would hazard a guess that most of what you own is a product of large corporations. As for North Face 'getting into skiing', they were in skiing a long time before most of the modern smaller brands, I think what you have a problem with is them trying to rejuvenate their image and reach the younger generation. I have no problem with marketing, I have a problem with people being stupid and gullible, and other people trying to be social heroes without fully realizing the consequences. But you don't have to listen to me, give your money to who you want to succeed.

I think its arrogant to hate on these big brands, they dump huge amounts of money back into the sport and do nothing but improve it.

When Aidan Gavin skis down the hill, I'm gonna ski down the hill in black nikes, and I'm gonna smile when I do it

I agree with this. not because I don't like big companies, but because I hate companies that use sweatshops.

fuck nike

fuck TNF

seriously, TNF doesn't even make good technical shit anymore.

I didn't watch the video, because I'm at the airport and I don't have an hour. Can someone tell me where to scroll to for the ski industry stuff?

Also-- when was the north face ever NOT in the ski industry?

lol at bitching about TNF being involved in winter sports. You fucking retarded?

I agree with hating on Nike.

Yes, thank you. OPs post made my head turn to mush. My very first ski jackets were the north face and that was like 19+ years ago.

Nike is getting huge in snowboarding, and the products and edits (Never Not series in particular) they come out with are awesome. They also sponsor some of the coolest dudes in snowboarding. So why is them getting into skiing a bad thing?
