Medical Marijuana Patients

Just curious, how many of you are medical patients?

I'm a medical patient coming from Durango. Where are you guys from and what are you smoking?

yeah fuck off, calling yourself a "patient" you're just a lazy fuck who thinks that somehow this drug benefits your life, and just contribute to the general stupidity and downfall of our state, and nation.

In Canada, you have to be dying or dead to get a valid prescription. Hell, Im sure assisted suicide will be easier to get than a legal toke in a decade.

Well given that it's still illegal to justify it as "I want to get high, suck my fucking dick" I'd say that works for me. Given that it's immeasurably less dangerous than alcohol- which adults are entrusted with the responsible enjoyment of every day- I'd say any rationale is fine, and you're just being a fucking assclown touchhole scrotum sniffer as usual.

I love how someone who claims to have led a drug-free life claims to understand exactly how everything works, where it comes from and how people get the weed they sell. What a fucking nimrod. I really wish that someone would call them out on their asinine assumptions and tell them straight up that they have no idea what they're talking about.

My rec expired 5 days ago....boy does it suck not having it, you have to deal with scummy fucking drug dealers, in the 5 days not having it I already got jacked.....

...if only it was a perfect world where everyone could utilize dispensaries, it would eliminate all the fucking low life scum bag drug dealers, and at the end of the day isn't that the goal behind "prohibition" ?

That's pretty much the case. I smoke pot mostly to get high. It improves my day to day life because I'm high, but that's a lifestyle change. The medical application makes my life so much easier (constant migraines), but I only use it for medical use every week or two. Patient is just a label

But, there is something to be said about the community medical patients get to participate in. A non-medial patient does not have all the choices and legal status as I do. I get to walk into a store and just look at a bunch of amazing flowers and hash. I get to talk with some of the best growers in the world about anything from the snow conditions on the mountain or the primavera clones share on the market. It's awesome and I hope that more stoners can appreciate it!

i don't think they care about jeff down on the corner who charges little timmy $50 for a gram and then tells him he's not gonna give him weed and threatens to beat him up, they're more concerned with where jeff got his weed and from where jeff's hookup got his weed which = drug trade

the point is, dispensaries eliminate the scumbag drug dealer, as well as the hookup and "drug trade" ...dispensaries either grow on site with a growing license, or buy from vendors with growing licenses; they know where its coming from

^^^ and fuck that guy saying it can never be part of a respectable community,

Wine connoisseurim is probably the closest comparison I can make experience-wise once you know your shit but I could never expect someone who's never smoked pot to understand that. Hell, wine is more dangerous but a non smoker would never know that. Oh well. Perception is coming around and sooner or later the cluelessness won't matter.

Well in our next election conservatives are 110% not winning and if I remember correctly every other party is arguing for legalization or semi/medical like what Cali has....

Weed and Hash are definitely developing into luxuries. Luxury in the sense that one can invest ungodly amounts of time and money into the quality of the product.

There are a lot of parallels between wine connoisseurs and weed connoisseurs. They spend time fighting over the soil, genetics, storage, etc. It's also worth mentioning that a wine snob can also be a drunk. The same goes for weed snobs

You are 100% correct. I am a medical marijuana patient in the state of California. My family uses medicinal marijuana for many things. I use marijuana to control my epilepsy in place of terrible pharmaceuticals such a depakote. My mom (Recently diagnosed with Type B Lymphoma) uses a special high CBD tincture to help relieve the nausea and pain associated with Chemotherapy, and my Father uses a topical ointment that relieves his arthritis hugely. I'm sayin this because my parents are NOT drug users and never have been.

I live on a Vineyard and always have. My Dad runs a winery on our property, and my parents are very responsible people who are total wine connoisseurs. They did not use any marijuana ever up until I started to show my dad its medicinal effects. My dad now finds the same sort of interest in Medical Marijuana to help my mom as he does in growing grapes and making wine. Medical marijuana is an amazing tool in the right hands and I just wish every state would fully legalize it. Yes, the MMJ program is abused, and thats why it needs to be legalized.

Anyways, Huck, your infinite wisdom always seems to amaze.
