Medical marijuana in california being shut down

lol I'd love to see the federal government TRY to shut down all the dispensaries in California. They've been attempting to shut them down for years and have never had success. They bust in to one, fine the owners, take their weed, and then 3 weeks later somebody else opens another one across the street.

Also, medical marijuana is seriously a bad fucking joke. If you actually believe that it is doing what it claims to be doing, then you're probably high as fuck. People abuse the shit out of the system to grow weed so that they can sell it illegally.

how fucking stupid are you first of all, lets be clear. not any "teenager" can just get a med card, you need to be 18 or with a parent. next lets quickly talk about what this will do to the system. med weed, a great source of tax revenue and a great way to keep perfectly normal people from clogging the whole judicial system with bullshit ''crimes", is now gone. i mean its not like california already has a way overpopulated prison system, so much to the point where they are letting at least 10,000 of their prisoners out on probation in the up and coming months, many of which were not previously eligible.

but sure, lets just get rid of the system. because we all know the only people who smoke weed are teenagers, they wont smoke it once the medical system is torn down, and this will be great for the economy. not to mention its an extremely harmful, addictive plant with no potential medical benefits to serve the 1% of the population that actually use the system for its intended purpose.

i mean how many fucking chromosomes do you actually have? 50?

there are strains of pot that slow down the progress of cancer. like really thats a miracle drug for some people.... and i i guess some strains also stop seizures. so it does good things just not regulated correctly
 
The only complaint I can see with this is that California's economy is going to take a hit, and a vast minority who aren't bullshitters and actually NEED weed are going to suffer as well. Aside from that, who gives a fuck. Buy it illegally like everyone else.
 
have you ever heard of desoxyn? It literally is pharmaceutical methamphetamine. Its an ADD and narcolepsy drug. Adderall and dexedrine are still more common, but in some cases they will even give desoxyn to young school kids.

I dont really know if want weed to be legal, the way it is in BC right now is just fine with me, if it became legalized it would only become more expensive, and its not like the cops here care at all really if you get caught with some. Our medical program is much stricter to who they allow into it, but seeing as canada has a way of following the US in situations like these, i hope they dont go and fuck it up for the people who actually need it up here.
 
Ok mister circular logic. Then it being legalized and more expensive won't make any difference because you can grow your own.
 
yea but in all honesty, i dont want to grown my own, i can get very very high end weed already at a very good price, which admittedly is way better than anything i could grow.
 
Nope he's right. Do some research. All medications like that are in the same chemical family as meth. Doctors can actually prescribe pharmaceutical methamphetamine to treat ADD/ADHD.
 
I don't understand how it would destroy the industrial paper industry though. It's not like people would be making hemp paper themselves. It might change the industry but I don't see how it would destroy it. Mind you I am fairly ignorant on this subject. I do know that a lot of the reason is from the pharmaceutical companies though.

Either way this is fucking stupid idea. Who is the US government really serving? I mean there is a reason the world looks at america with a negative view and it certainly isn't because of the people. I mean what other developed nation runs privatized prisons and has no universal health care system?

The even worse part is that Canada is right beside the USA and losing respect from other country's. We are right on track to becoming a corrupted oil state.
 
I don't know anything about Canada I just heard it was better than America...

My fallback plan is to immigrate to Canada once America really goes down the shitter.
