Meathead Films: Snow Gods

the meatheads have put together a good looking trailor, cant wait to see the flick. We were more than happy to have them in Connecticut this past winter while they were in between powder days.
 
the beginning (begging????) of the trailer was perfect reflection of the east's winter last year. It was awesome in my opinion.
 
the trailer rocks. i cant believe they got that kind of snow last winter. i can only remember like 3 times that the snow was decent here in the east
 
I saw Snow Gods last night. Very good movie! Makes me want to make that trip to Chic Chocs (sp?). Props to all the east coast rippers in that flick!
 
The beginning gave me flashbacks to my two days at Killington...the first one pouring rain (thank god for goretex)...the day after 25mph winds, negative temps...
 
mad old thread but i just saw it tonight for the first time and its a really really sick movie....got me super pumped to ski this season....no to mention the will wesson intro where he is killing all the rails is my home mountain ......big ups to the meathead crew for keeping it real as fuck and just doin what they love to do
 
Meathead Productions SUCK!!!! Fuckin East Coast shit productions, I wish the east coast like broke off and hooked up with south Africa!
 
You should go fucking die you piece of shit. Just because us guys on the east don’t have the luxury of awesome snow whenever we want like you guys do out west doesn’t mean you should hate us. You have absolutely no reason to talk any shit. And also you guys have so many film companies repin the west and I think it is sick to see a company making it big just off the east. How does the East Coast not being as good as the west effect you at all? It doesn’t, so go fuck your self.
 
Also i saw snowgods and it was so sick, honestly one of my favorite of the year. def worth watch/buying. the steped it up HUGE since last year, this put born from ice to shame
 
i think this movie was done so well. geoff did a really good job putting it together. some of the tree lines done are absurb. also, if your into park, erik olson, will wesson, ahmet, lj and giray all put together crazy freeride segs. its got a really good feel with tons of bonus stuff. thanks meathead for putting together a film that really represents the east. supppper sick.

also, i the mogul seg is epic. the hammer or whatever his name lays it down, and i really wanna challenge "radio ron" to a dual. he claimed park skiers can't ski mogs. what's the dealll.

anyway, sick movie, i advise anyone to check it out.
 
While I;m not so great at bumps, it's nice to see something different. That bump seg broke up the movie nicly and the dude defiently rips

not to mention he looks exactly like my uncle from boston, and every other hammer head from the area haha

i'm saying what everone else said...this movie kicked ass...the bonus stuff was really good too. I can't get over simon fixing his shoulder..or the bonus helmet cam stuff

My favorite seg. had to of been the Jay part...where the fuck did that snow come from?!?! Also that 1st line in the begining of the stowe segment was sick!

I just wish rooster and kristen was in the movie!
 
jay was a sanctuary last year, it was decent right through the season, i think that was the only way i stayed sane.
 
how is meatheads gonna make a ski movie without snow. i thought last year was the worst season of my life but this season makes last year look like heaven. there is seriously no snow anywhere, the east is unskiable and according to the forecast will remain unskiable for the next 15 days
 
i bought three copies of it this year, best east coast flick for sure. the best part was the balance of pow and park i think - it blended so well, all without rap.
 
i agree, and it migh have been my favorite movie of the year, but regaurdless, why the fuck would you buy three copies? haha
 
Just thought I'd bump this. I know it's old, but I bought Snow Gods at Eastern Mountain Sports this past weekend.

It was an awesome movie. Good balance of freeskiing and park. The footage from Jay was insane.

The whole movie was incredibly inspiring. Can't wait for Wanderland to become available for purchase.
 
for sure man meathead is easily top 2 for fav film companys if not my most favorite next to level 1 wanderland was so great and snow gods had madd bonus fatures
 
that trailer is awesome! I really wanna see that film, still haven'yt gotten around to it. Meathead is dope, i really wanna see Wnaderland too, because tehy came to Newfoundland, where I just moved to!

The priceing ponit they have for the movie is sick, most all other big movies are 30+ and alot of them kinda suck this year.
