I know this is a "noob" question but how are skis measured? I am new to skiing and i want to know how they measure tip to tail and how to measure running length. Even though I am new I know how to use the search bar but nothing showed up. Thanks

Tip to tip, but somehow companies like k2 always find a way to measure long.

Yeah but how do they measure tip to tip like infront of the ski or back of they ski?

i think that is because they measure the ski as if the tips were flattened out

yeah, everyone but k2, that ive heard, lays the ski flat, on basae like normal, and measures from top of tip to top of tail, like and imaginary line from tip/tail.

and running length is if u put ur ski on a flat surface and u measure all that is touching the ground.....?
