Mean teacher

so theres this teacher at my school who is so mean to everyone.

she teaches personal finance(like stocks and those things), general buissness, and keyboarding, oh yeah and a few others like buissness law

but to the point; i am in her personal finance class, 1st period

so i missed all last week becasue i was on a ski trip, and i asked her for my homework ahead of time and she was like yeah jsut get the notes from someone

so when i got back monday morning i got the notes from my friend.

our teacher she talks a lot and its one of those classes where you ahev to be there to listen and its hard to take notes unless you want to write a book.

but we had a quiz and so i took it with studing the little notes i had

now i am an A student, 4.0 since i was in school.

and i get this paper back with checks everywhere with c's through them

im kinda like huh?

so i go up and ask her and shes like i used the wrong key thoose are right but the other ones, yeah theyre still wrong

so i go back to my seat to correct the still wrong ones and im asking people around me for help, i get the first one right so im on the second one

i ask the girl i got notes from becasue she got it right so i take it up there and shes like no, thats not right.

im sorta like wtf?

so after class i go up to talk to ask her for help on that question and this is the response i get back;

you need to take better notes, you hardly ever pay attention in class, and it seems like youre just half here, i can tell youre not a morning person(in a scartastic tone)

-me say, well i got my notes and the answer wasnt in them

then you need to talk to other people to help you

-i did, i asked kayl...

well you need to ask other people who pay attention in class and participate someone like a molly or a kyle or a hannah, you need to take care of it yourself and teach yourself

today when there were plenty of oppertunities to take notes you didnt even write anything down, i looked over and im not goign to tell you to write things down in the middle of class, thats your problem

-as shes finishing im walking out of the room, thinking, what a bitch, and sort of laughing because i actually did take a page of notes today, hmmm wonder why she thinks i didnt, i wanted to go get my binder and be like see, theres my notes.

so its been pissing me off so bad alll day so lunch comes and i go talk to our vice principle and tell him what happened (without usuing the word bitch) and hes like okay, do you ahve a study hall? i said yeah 7th, so he said i could go talk to the principal and he can deal with it more

and we were talking about it at lunch and i guess she said last year to our friend scott(hes a little on the bigger side) yeah you would type faster if we put a hamburger in front of you.

so i get to talk with the head hauncho in 1 hour. wooh, everyones like yeahhh. i was walking down the hallway with a huge smile on my face

i'm still not exactly sure what i'm going to say..... ah!

 
actually, you sound like the bitch. you got a C on a paper and think it's her fault, and a page of notes is fucking nothing. maybe don't complain about you missing a few answers on a quiz when you weren't there. you are most likely not gonna get an A when you aren't in class...get over it? sorry but that's how i feel on the subject.
 
You sound like the typical teen girl that blames the educational system and "mean", "unfair", and "gay" teachers when you make a mistake.
 
Why were you expecting to do good? You missed everything in class, and having a page of notes is nothing. You got a C, thats not even bad?
 
i can't stand those people who dub teachers "mean" or "gay" and such. Its usually the student who is the problem.. Why should a teacher put up with a students bullshit anticts.

 
no its ok to call a teacher mean, cause some teachers arent nice.

in college i constantly hear people saying a teacher sucks at teaching. most of the time its the students who are dumbasses.
 
I think you guys are kind of misinterpreting the story from her. The way I see it is that she's not upset that she got a bad grade on the test, it's just that her pride was sort of attacked from a teacher who has obviously had problems with students before(hamburger kid). I can understand the fact that you're upset. That's atleast how I took it. I wish I could pull a C in my business class. Fuck it's hard.
 
thats a huge dick move, telling you that you have to teach yourself, you shoulda been like " then why the hell are you here" or something snazzy!
 
My math teacher has done stuff like that to me too. She has all the units notes online at the school site, but they are hard to understand, and no way could you just go from looking at the notes to doing the work without having someone explain a bunch of stuff to you first. When I went to ask her for help on one question she said " no way I can teach you all that work in one class, you have to look at the notes"

so yea, I hate when teachers do stuff like that, and thats a real bummer she treats you like you miss behave bad all the time and stuff but your really an A student, hope it goes well talking to the principal.
 
well i see it as...

she got a C and automatically blamed it on the teacher. asking her about every question on the test, thinking the teacher was wrong.
 
no no im not mad about the grade, i got an F on my algebra 2 test yesterday i dont care its that when i tried to ask my teacher for help she goes on a rant about me. but like i went to see our principle and he was like yes i understand where youre coming from and then we talked a bit and he was like i'll say something to her.

but like yeah its not her fault i did poorly, its my own and i'll own up to that.

its that in all shes mean for no reason, everyone in my school agrees, like i was standing in class one day when she gave us free time like the last 5 min and a nother girl was too, but she goes ERIKA! sit down! anywhere theres chairs all around!, yet she doesnt yell at the other girl.

and how she counts off 10 points of my portfolio cus she tells us to put our names on it and iput erika(im the only erika in my school too) and says oh you didnt have your last name, which she never told us we HAD to put.

its more of a pride thing not a grade

i will most likely get an A anyways, its that i try for help and get a smack in the face (not litteraly speaking)
 
Ooooh, I had a teacher like that. I went to Breck for 4 days and asked her for all my HW. Came back, turned everything in...she put an F on every single paper. Those papers were clear of any imperfections too. Stupid Dr. Sperro. Oh and if you called her Mrs. Sperro she would yell at you.
 
well then with that info, i retract my previous statements. your teacher IS a bitch. but your principal probably won't do shit unfortunately. and i had teachers who got so pissed when i'd go on skiing trips. one tried to not let me make up my tests my parents had to go to the school board hahaha.
 
I have a teacher just like that named Dr. Lustie who wont respond if you don't use Dr. before her name. Yea when i went to aspen for a 4 day weekend she said i was trying to beet the system and was like, "well i want to give you credit for your work but don't know why i should when you try and cheat me all the time" so i got 15%s
 
the music teacher at my school is like that. If you say mr he immediately interupts you and says "Doctor, continue." its wicked funny.
 
the principal won't do anything, because he can't if you are in the good ol' US of A. Teachers have such strong unions that short of sexual harassment, it is impossible to find a reason to fire one. But, she sounds like she should be teaching at a large college, not in high school.
 
yeah she also happens to be the superentendants wife. =O

so...

i dont want her fired, just telling her to stop being a witch to kids.

its so weird though, because i've known our superentendent for years, he was my moms teacher when she was in high school, and hes always like hi erika! and hes so nice to me and like hes gotten me out of trouble with being late to school before and things liek that.

its just like how can HE be married to HER

A TA gave me a .8 in participation just because I emailed my homework in and skipped 1 day for skiing, eventually worked things out with the prof~
 
mhm ok fine u are upset but pleae come on no biggie, what do you think how it will be once u start working, do you think if your boss will complain something although it isnt fair or whatever you wanna call it you wanna bitch about it ? If you will, you might just loose your job. Life isnt fair, live with it and make the best out of it.
 
i dropped out but i was going to say the same shit. go ahead miss a few classes like i did then try to catch up. GOOD luck and its all on you, the teacher won't care
