cant seem to get my mini disc player to work on my computer. A friend just gave it to me and it didn't come with any software, just a pclink...help please!

yeah if it only came with the pc link?, usually it comes with a program to upload songs, umm try and upload the minidisk to your comp, i forget how to do this, but you like search the terminals on your comp, or just go to your local like high tech store that sells comps and minidisks, im sure theyll hook you up

i run windows xp and MG jukebox is installed (got it from a buddy of mine with a new MD player)...but it still doesn't fucking work!

i dont have a mini disc player but what i remember from setting up my friends was that you could record from like the headphone output (mini jack) into the mini disc's input and just play whatever songs you want and they get recorded onto the disc, i think thats the easiest way to do it, the only disadvantage is that it recordes in real time, meaning youve gota let the whole song/s play which can take some time

do you have the usb net link? If that's the case, you don't need any software. When you start recording on your MD player, it'll just record whatever sound is coming out of your computer.
