Mcmorris calls out shon wite!!

everyone seems to forget Torstein in all of this. I think we can all agree on the fact that Torstein clearly landed the cleaner triple cork last year, and i would say he is much better than Shaun White at slope.
 
that was smooooth, i love the way he unwinded at the end of the triple. there's another one done by a japanese guy i think, it was nice too

this. Horgmo is a beast, the best in my personal opinion plus the dude is funny as fuck. He's always having a good time. His movie Horgasm was hysterical! Hope he takes home the gold
 
I like the way he spins. His switch backside 12 are delicious. Even his back 3's off rails. And his style is pretty flawless switch or regs.

 
I feel like I'm the only one that wouldn't care to see White win slopestyle. Not that I'm cheering for him, but it's kind of cool to see a veteran come back to an event that use to be all his when the sport has changed so much (why Hall and/or Dumont would look awesome on the podium in pipe).

BTW isn't this going to make skiing look weak!!! Snowboarders are throwing triples in slopestyle and skiers haven't even tripled in big air at x. Pro skiers, Man Up. You get paid to do future spins... lol
 
I mean I wouldn't care that much if he won if he earned it. If he came out with some serious rail steez and then threw the fuck down on all the jumps with perfect landings hell yeah. I just don't want to see him getting bonus points.

Also I really would like X to focus more on the riders that are KILLING it and the up and comers instead of riding the dick of a douche.

What Mark doesn't realize is that Shaun is the top guy in pipe, who also has a legitimate chance at winning slope. Where as Mark has a chance at winning slope, but probably couldn't even qualify in pipe.

To me, it sounds like a freshman trying to talk shit to a senior in order to make himself feel big.
 
Mcmorris' triple is still the most 'true' tripple cork I've seen, as in he is spinning the entire time and not flipping the last two 'corks'.
 
agreed mcmorris isnt my favorite, but fuck sam wheat, obviously if you have your own private halfpipe to train on youre going to get good
 
No. Mcmorris took gold in big air and slope last year. Shaun took gold in pipe but pussied out of Slopestyle. Mcmorris might not be good in pipe but he proved himself to be dominant across 2 disciplines, which Shaun failed to do.

On another note, I hope halldor does well this year. The guy has sick style and maybe he can finally get that lobster flip if he doesn't get kicked out for drinking.
 
THIS. I dont think he has a triple, but hes way cooler imo. cause he really doesnt give a fuck aboutthe industry and does what he wants.

 
Yeah that was practically identical to Mcmorris' tripple. I think mark's is still a tad less flippy on that very last rotation, but we're splitting hairs at this point.

McMorris is the man. 19 years old and calling out Shaun White. He knows White can't go toe to toe to him in slopestyle. Pumped to see them go head to head, gonna be an awesome X Games all around!

It was so awesome watching him go down on his second run. I am also bummed that horgmo and others were unable to bump him out.
 
i really just have a burning hate for shaun white. he is the anti chirst of the way of mountain athletes.

I hope he loses terribly at xgames like he should because he doesnt take snowboarding seriously at all because he thinks hes hot shit. but reallly hes a massive dbag.
 
I was hoping Halldor would kill it. But he is just crazy and everything is a joke to him. He did a triple as a joke.
 
Or takes snowboarding way too serious. (private foam, pipe and sht.) he only lives coz of x games. wish he bails hes slope run so hard, wanna hear what hes gonna say on interview after.. jk, he will 50-50 the sht out of that box and wins with triple cork coz 1. its triple. 2. its shaun white. 3. x games judges suckkkss-
