Make Carinthia Lodge Shitty Again

im tired of waiting 15 min for some 20 dollar chicken tenders (epic pass discount included) and another 15 for some Jerry ski racers in the nitro express lift line. Just for them to cut me off on a lip. I truly miss the days of golden carinthia. Something needs to change.
 
after a certain point you've got to have some dignity and stop buying food from these places... buy sausage egg and cheese at the gas station before and slim jims after. i don't have sympathy if you're spending more than 5 bux on food.
 
The whole vibe of the new lodge is very “you can’t afford to be in here”. Very dumb restaurant upstairs aslo god forbid they use it for more seating when it’s filled to the brim with people but I digress

This post wasn’t 100% bout the food prices it was more that the new lodge is attracting more Jerry’s that don’t know what they are doing making carinthia over crowded. There were a handful of them that were getting carried away by ski patrol.
 
Genuinely fuck mount snow and vail for getting rid of the old lodge. The new one doesn't have skate 3 or a mini ramp and they have the audacity to call it an "upgrade"
 
i miss the stampede at 4pm when theyd start handing out free food really miss those golden days rip mount snow

I knew it was cooked when I walked in the new one for the first time and there was no skate 3
 
Honestly the damage done by vail is nearly impossible to reverse. The only thing I could see them do is renovate the main lodge and lower the prices. I could definitely see set up a grill in the parking lot.

I'm gonna keep it a buck though, the new lodge is killer. It's soooooo nice and beautifully constructed, very clean etc. And the patio is amazing. The old one was fucking gross and genuinely needed to be updated, but they fucked up by removing the mini ramp entirely and getting rid of skate 3. Those are small issues though, the biggest is where they moved it to. Why the FUCK is the patio not right in front of the halfpipe??? Instead of looking up at people chucking methods and flares and handplants the new lodge just faces directly at either a huge parking lot or the massive nitro express line. Who thought that was a good idea???
 
Wonder if I just posted up in the parking lot with a grill and bevs and gave food to people for like 2 bucks I would get kicked out. CBTM

Having money means I have choices. I choose not to spend it on shitty food that’s over priced. I know that’s hard for you to comprehend.
 
the arc by gold coast at squaw valley/palisades tahoe is probably one of the easiest places to swipe some food. they have maybe 3 employees sitting at the self check out making sure u pay but half the time they are just not paying attention so u can just walk out with a full plate of food and save your self 50-60 bucks. i have yet to be caught doing such things. fuck alterra thanks for the free french fries and red bulls!!!

Nah honestly location is pretty ideal, especially since they stopped blowing slow/making the pipe..you can watch people rip through junkyard and mamba in the spring
