not very good since it's a UNIVERSITY!!

jk, there's many mountains around Montreal, but you have to drive at least 40 min out of the city. The best and highest mountain around is undeniably Tremblant( 1 1/4 hours from MTL) but Avila, Bromont and Val St-Come are also very nice.

 
avila is prolly the place u wanna be going, most montrealers go there becuz they have a killer park and its cheap

honestly mcgill is pretty awesome (as are other montreal uni's) because montreal is a fab city and avila has a really great, consistent park.
