McEachran's triple to one ski

Landing a trip is one thing. Having trips down so well that you can land it after you literally tweak your own ski off is another. Count it

Still blows my mind the fact that he can triple cork while grabbing spliff/mutepan (mute and japan). Also I can't comprehend how you can tweak an uncrossed mute so hard that your other ski pops off.

Did the judges score it?

To judges, if your ski falls off, its basically a fall even if you ride it out.

Also if they did score it he put his hand down which would probably result in a big deduction

It blows my mind that he continues to hold the grab after his ski pops off.

i wonder if he could even tell at the time. he didn't flail his boot or anything so maybe he only discovered the problem upon landing. slow-mo makes it seem like a age but in reality that happened so fast. pretty lucky to not hurt his knee when his boot touched down. true boss move all around!

Thank god he didn’t get hit by the ski the way the videos taken it looks close, be such a weird injury if that’d have happened

Did they score it? Yes. Everyone that leaves the start gate gets a score.

Did they score it well? No. Your equipment is an integral part of you as an athlete. If you lose your gear there was obviously an issue with your trick.

Here's his run breakdown. I'm going to guess that this was Run 3. Judges came up with 30 across the board and that's basically the lowest you're going to see an athlete score if they don't put it to their feet.

Is 30 the highest they can give for a crash?

I doubt there is an actually highest number, but its probably something they all agreed on.
