what a great picture, he was having fun.

we will never forget Shane's innovations, and inspirational life. lets all shred for Shane tomorrow

Can NS setup some sort of a donation scheme to the McConkey family? I think it'd be awesome to show just how much the skiing community cares, and i'm sure a bit of financial help from all over wouldn't go unnoticed, whether its to support his family or create some sort of tribute in Squaw. Yes no?

on one of tj holmes forums, he said that at 2:19, we were informed that approximately 10 minutes earlier, shane was pronounced dead

At least he left life with a smile on his face while having fun. It's terrible that he had to pass away though.

RIP SHANE

again RIP, but has the helmet cam survived the crash. really, i dont wanna see how someone dies, but it might gives hints for BASE-jumpers to prevent such tragedies

Dude, it was an MSP movie shoot. That means it's very very likely that they shot it in HD from wherever... I hate to think of it.
Rest in Peace Shane. This pic summarizes his outlook. Happy but doing crazy gnarly things.

That picture makes me sad. Such a happy guy, super stoked, and had a HUGE impact on the skiing community. but now he's gone.

RIP

he was on the news the other night and they showed his introduction in seven sunny days when he is talking about injuries and doing handstands and playing with his kid, brought tears to my eyes

there is footage and it has been reviewed many times to go over what exactly went wrong. thankfully it won't ever be released to anyone outside the closest circle of friends and family.

so weird to see stuff like this, just a couple minutes before it happened. at least he was having fun right till the end though, that how every life should be.
