McConkey done filming?

So awhile back, my gym sub won that sessions contest where you were able to ski with shane.

he had a great time but in the end, he told me that Shane isn't doing any filming this year.

I think he said that no one was interested in shane anymore, so MSP ins't filming him for the next movie.

I personally think that this would suck

Shane is the man. I don't think I'll buy anymore MSP movies if they ditch him like that. Of course his knees are fucked and he has a kid now. . . but seven sunny days was epic! They should just have him do things like that, but when I think about it, thats all they have ever had him do. I wouldnt mind seeing a return of saucer boy. Maybe shane wont return, but saucer boy will?

I saw the same thing. Shane still rips, his seg in Push had some sick shots. Last year was entertaining, though I wonder if he got hurt, as he did not have too many shots.

why would MSP ditch Shane? he's an icon of big mountain skiing and he was just made more famous by steep so MSP would only gain money by sticking him on a heli w/ like abma and ingrid and filming him tear the shit out of his line

No. Shane McConkey should never be dropped, and frankly, I think he will keep skiing gnarly balls to the wall lines on noodley pontoons until he physically cannot walk, and after that we will find out how titanium replacement joints work after sending 80 fters.

Well, I can't say that I'm spreading this rumour. It's just that my teacher skied with him, they mingled, drank shrimp cocktails, talked politics and;well since it was awhile ago that I was told this, but that he might not be filming.

Sure, I might not know the stuff and I don't want to be seen as a dick.I look upto Shane, I think it would be terrible if he never came back to filming.

I'm just saying that I heard it from a primary source. So I'm questioning it.

Shane is still filming this year. He was at Mt. Hood last week with Miles Daisher ski baseing Mississippi Head.
