you are flat out WRONG.
the mccain campaign is on the defensive, it is pretty obvious to see this, if you have been considering all the trends of all the state polls that have been conducted during this election, you see that McCain probably isn't going to take over any of the John Kerry states, he hasn't led in ANY of them, and so far it doesn't look like it's going to happen for him.   On the other hand you have Obama who has flipped Iowa, now has a 5-6 percent lead in Colorado as well as New Mexico, AND has just recently taken a small lead in Virginia, and has brought into play North Carolina.  All this not even considering his decent chances of taking Ohio or Florida.
Seriously, go take a look for yourself at realclearpolitics.com and you will see what I'm talking about.  And if you think I'm wrong on this I would like to hear your explanation for how in the world this translates into an advantage for McCain.
