Mazda Miata

im looking at getting a ford festiva and doing a BP engine swap, because it bolts right into a miata. The festiva will be for ice racing, the miata for auto x, maybe even drift. Miatas are great little cars. throw a bigger set of injectors in there and up your fuel pressure and you will see a huge difference in performance. For my build the plan will be a complete engine build up which wont be cheap BUT it will fit into both the cars, and swapping an engine back and forth is cake, couple hour job. Iv found a miata with a blown engine thats been sitting for a while, yellow with a hardtop, im gonna make an offer one of these days.
 
your dumb as fuck my friend has an all motor civic prlly in high 300 horse with full suspention done, nothing could touch him besides a some really nice porche, and his civic is a 1989 lol so dont tell me they cant handle good and cant be fast, also theres a 500 whp AWD civic that i know of , im not saying ur gay miata wont handle good , and the cool think about a honda is that your making a grocery getter fast ok, cool go buy a car thats stock fast , leme see you build it yourselff seeing the fact a stock honda makes like 150 horse ha

, theres the awd civic, its actully like 400 horse but its just a single cam, as of the other one is a fully built ITR with a cage, i dont have pics or times, at the track i think it ran a high 11 idk lap times, its my friends friend so i dont know him so well, ill try get lap times if you really want
 
theres a guy in my city that has a miata that has an ls-1 corvette motor swap and he dominates at drifting with it its pretty sick

And I gave my reasons later anyways. I could never fit in a damn Miata.
 
Drop a chevy 305 in it change it to RWD, put a 1 1/2 or 2 inch exaust on it(something quite) and you sir will have the ultimate sleeper. big motor+tiny car= good time.

P:S-i would advise a little suspension up grade, Brakes would help and you should be set
 
miatas have areputation for being chick cars, or gay, but they actualyl handle REALLY well, and thats a awesome deal you are getting.

I still am not a fan of them though, I think they are underpowered. They would be dope with a 13B twin rotor engine in them though.
 
im pretty sure an 80s civic is just as "Gay" as a miata, im not sure why you are hating so much on someone elses car choice, everyone can have their own style ride, hence why so many car companies exist at the huge levels they do today. now shut up, stop pushinghonda as the best thing in the world, and get off the internet.

thats an s2k, and yes, it will handle well because it is well balanced and rwd. your friends civic hwever handles like shit compared to a miata no matter how many hp it has because it is fwd
 
unless you have the bbs wheels, i would suggest getting some nice blingy but lightweight wheels and keeping the stockers for snow tires. but if you have the bbs wheels, rock those.

also it is completely possible to beat the shit out of a car in a year. i did it to my integra, raced it basically every weekend.
