Maybe going out west/pow ski advice

Right now I have last years Obsetheds, 179cm. I'm 5'10", 150lbs, and ski park/all mtn 50/50 (I like wide skis). A bunch of my friends are getting a pass to Jay Peak this year. I can get promotive deals on Bluehouse and Liberty skis, which makes buying another pair more tempting. I probably don't need another pair, but am considering either a smaller width ski for the park, or a larger more rockered ski for when it dumps at Jay and surrounding areas.
I am also trying to get an ski design engineering co-op, and looking a position out west for the upcoming spring semester. If that works out (fingers crossed) I would definitely look into getting a wider ski.
Any suggestions from those two companies above that would fit in with the Obsetheds? Or another recommended ski? Should I sell the Obsetheds, and get either Bentchetler/NT/JJ/ON3P/SFB/EP Pro as my main ski?
I feel like this topic has been beat to death, but there are so many options I can't get my head around.

+K, always good to have someone agree with your conscience and convince you not to waste money. So tempting though....

I thoroughly agree, there's no need for another ski.

That being said... something new is always fun. How do you like your Obsethed's? Something from Liberty is going to be a lot snappier, using bamboo cores instead of K2's super damp cores. If you want to do another ski, sell your Obsethed's and do two separate skis, a LTE or Morphic and a Double Helix, something that's going to give you a bit more drastic difference.

i have last year's obsetheds as my all mountain ski and i live in PA. it carves well here and handles spring crud. i took them out to utah for a week in january last winter and got well over a foot each day i was there. it was pretty much bottomless, and never once did i wish i had something wider. my friend was on hellbents and while he said they were fun, he said there were times he wished he was on his lizzies instead. as far as i'm concerned, unless you're getting like 2'+ at a time, the obsethed is the perfect do-everything ski.

thats because you ski at park city though.. not nearly as much snow or backcountry.. if hes planning on goin brighton/alta/snowbird he may wanna consider new skis
