May Day 2k16 at Big Boulder

So Big Boulder just said that they were going to be doing May Day this Saturday. Anybody else stoked? Or should I be skeptical given the dismal amount of snow that they got this year?
 
There is no chance a lift will be spinning, but I am guessing they will have a few rails setup. I might make the drive.

They said there is no chance of a lift when I messaged them, Also I saw a pic on insta, they are really going to have to push what they have and spread it thin to make it skiable, I'm sure it will be sick but not worth the drive for me
 
For people who don't know, BB does a pretty fucking good job on this.

If they're having it, it's going to at least be decent.

Basically go hoping for a few sick rails to get down on and HOPE for a jump. They've done pretty well over the years getting some legit jumps in for this event but it really was a shit season.

I might be driving down for it.
 
I'll be there rain or shine, lift or hike. Worse case find me in the parking lot with the red grill bumping music.

I'm hoping for some jumps. I'm not really big on rails, but some of my friends want to go. Either way, it'll be fun. I was there for the first time this past winter. I was thoroughly impressed by how nice it was. The jump line they had was so much fun.

I'm not a rail guy either so that's why I don't think I'll be going. They just posted a picture and it's going to be rails it looks like. Either way, props for Big Boulder putting in the effort for the skiers and snowboarders!

This was from yesterday I think. Was planning on going because it's not too far for me but I don't know about it now. I don't understand why they waited so long when there would obviously be more snow in the beginning of the month.
 
cant make it due to attending my sister's graduation. have a good time everyone. make a fire edit for us others to enjoy.

Did it rain at all? My friends and I were on our way, but it was down pouring for the first half of the trip so we turned around. Sounds like we missed out

It drizzled for like 10 minutes tops. You missed out for sure.
