Season's not over yet. One last rail jam before the bathing suits come out:SUNDAY, MAY 29Stratton Mountain Resort
Mountain Mayhem Rail JamEver wonder what the resort does with the tons and tons of left over US Open snow? Move it around, build some brand new features and throw a Memorial Day rail jam in the Main Base. COmpete for cash, swag and summer-long bragging rights.
Green grass, blue skies, rail jam, friends and a massive BBQ. Dust off your skis and show us what you've got, one last time. Will you be there?

Is it free? Any idea of features? I plan on going, should be a sick weekend with the Stowe jam then this. Also, does anyone have pictures / edits form last years?

as a stratton local in no way affiliated with the mountain,I can assure you this will be awesome. A whole heck of a lot of fun. And if you advance reg, 20 bucks is nothing for a long day of shredding in the sun with a dope bar b que. Plus, if i am not mistaken, it will be on the main side this year (?). Just a great day to come out with your friends.Unfortunately last year I got really sick and couldn't goand this year I am back in SLC so I also can not attend. Hopefully there is a big turn out because this event is super duper awesome. Last year they had over 12 features most of which were pretty large. Snow melts fast though so get there early!!!!
I heart stratton.

Not really stoked on the $20, way too much. Especially since I have to drive all the way down there and back which will be like $50 in gas......

We've been over this you tool. Come to my house after the Stowe rail jam and hang out here so you don't have to spend so much money on gas.

Dipshit, I still have to drive to your house, then back to Burlington. That doesn't make me a tool in any way.

50 bucks in gas, fuck you. im droping at least 30 on the way there, 30 on the way back, 20 on booze, and yeah if i get caught ill be spending 20 for a comp. but whatever, im pretty sure during the winter if i bought a day ticket it would cost about 2xs as much. and if u got a problem with driving so much, just tent out at the bottom of the lodge, its what im doing

I don't have a problem with driving, I have a problem with paying for an end of the year rail jam that is free everywhere else. You gusy are the ones blowing it out of proportion, all I said is I'm not stoked on paying for it.

And how exactly does camping out at the bottom of the ledge solve a driving issue. You can't camp out at the bottom of the lodge without driving there......

Well Stratton is having a cash prize so the money is probably going to cover that. But does anyone really care if there is a cash prize or not for "first", I mean it is an end of the season jam, I am just going for fun. I am still paying to go because I want to go, but it's not good marketing. Plus, there aren't any other jams on Sunday so they can get away with it. I think Stowe and Snow should come to an agreement to not have theirs on the same day. Also, more mountains should consider doing jams. I wouldn't even mind paying like $5 a piece if all the major mountains in VT or New England had a jam on different days.

Hey, I know what I'm talking about. Got a B+ in my Resort Marketing and Management class that I took a year before I was supposed to. I know what's up with this kind of stuff, it's what I'm majoring in.

and nah haven't heard anything yet but i'd say you can expect the rails they used for the US Open railjam setup because last i checked they were all right next to the snowpile, and they'll probly add some more as well.
