Maximum # people in a car

Hi crew! I'm from Spain and I'm planing a ski trip in California, but I have a essential doubt. How many people can go

in a car at the same time if I have a normal driver license (in Spain

it's called B license)? I think I will rent a van of 12 pax, but I don't know if I can't drive it.

In a Spain, with the B license, I can the maximum number of people in a car is 7. So I don't know if I can drive a 12 pax van
 
in america it goes by vehicle size, so if you get a large van you should be fine. my dad drove the largest vehicle allowed by a regular license, which was a van a bit bigger then an ice cream truck for work once.

I think I will rent a Ford E-150 12 PAX. I thing it isn't too large. The rental company said me I could drive it but I wasn't sure.

well, this is completely unrelated but i once shared a bus seat with 7 other people. it warmed us up.

I'm not sure about California, but in Pennsylvania there is no maximum. If you have a Junior License, there's a max at the number of seatbelts in the car (5 seatbelts, 5 people). The Senior License doesn't have a max, you can pack as many people as you want in.
 
the european lisences are way different then the american ones. From personal experience you should be just fine with a normal class B lisence. Have a nice trip!
 
Uh most people are wrong in this situation. The maximum number of people you can drive is 14, 15 including yourself with a normal operators license. I don't know if you have them in europe but in the states we have minibuses. They fit 15 people and are popular for schools because anyone can drive them, not people with certain licenses.

I'm planing to visit Cali on April. I will fly to San Francisco (I'm from Barcelona), and then I will go to Tahoe. I will spend 4 days in Tahoe and then I will go to Mammouth (4 days, aswell). Maybe I will post a message in the future called "Skipass prices on April" haha I think I will come back to Spain ruined

 
Sounds like a fun trip. You may want to spend a day in San Francisco if that is where you are flying into. It's a cool city. Just stay there a day after you fly in and then the next day go to Tahoe.
 
same thing happened where we were packed into a school bus, and then we got rear end at a stop light, things changed alot after that
