Maxbell ski sale

ski shops andm individuals. its done by the ski patrollers and they take like 10%. anyone can give them something to sell but most of the skis are from shops, that being said most of them are old rental skis. there are great deals for new skiers and some real good deals for advanced. not a whole lot of twin tips but there was some redic deals when i was workin.

Yep, I went last year during that freak snowstorm on the Sunday. Even though I was late compared to most, I got a sicke pair of pants for $80 and a pair of Salomon 1080 boots (just before white SPKs) for $160. Pretty damn good prices for new stuff. I think I missed the boat on ski hardware though, because although there was a tonne of great deals for beginners to intermediates, there were VERY few good twins or expert skies left. There's tonnes of clothing.....everyone's tastes. I asked a couple of shops why didn't really have a presence there. Their answer was that all their old stuff is always sold out....which is pure b.s. They don't want to compete at those crazy low prices.

There are NO deals at the Calgary snow show....they actually sell very little. There are a lot of new model year skis, and a whole bunch of resorts....but that's it.

I went last year and was totally disappointed. The Toronto ski show (which is the one I used to frequent) slayed the Calgary Ski Show's nutz.
