Hah yeah the old server isn't doing very well... the site has just grown bigger than it can handle. However we're moving onto a super fancy setup that will make all of these problems things of the past... super soon too I think the test site is finished, and they're working on the install on the new machines right now!

Might as well report this issue I had.

I was trying to upload a .wmv format video to NS the other day, 4.37Mb in size. It wouldn't upload. I would get a message saying the connection had timed out.

I gave up and settled on putting it on photobucket which reduced the quality some.

Any idea why I was having issues?

Added servers, added ram to servers, got new server... still wasn't enough. This site has grown a lot over the years and the whole setup had to be scrapped. So yeah we changed things up last winter, but this time we're scrapping the whole thing, moving the server from Texas to LA and using a completely new system.
