I just beat the game, and i thought the ending SUCKED. it seemed so anticlimactic....i was expecting there to be a twist, and there wasent. The game was sick, i was just dissapointed by the ending. So was it actualy him who killed his family? Is that guy actualy going to help him get all the charges dropped? Is this supposed to be a cliffhanger till the seqel?

yeah i beat it a pretty long time ago...but i thought it was a pretty good ending..I thought it was those thugs that killed his wife and kid?hm...im confused...maybe i have the wrong game..mm....

ya that game was sick the best parts are were he trps out and you have to walk along that path and jump to other shit

The game itself was pretty good but with all the suspence, the ending kind-of blew it

I'm pretty sure there is going to be a seqel. I think max payne is the best game that I have played. The bullet time option is awesome. I thougth the ending was kinda bad too, but I'm sure that they are just setting us up for another one. peace

That game was pretty sweet, i'm not to sure if he actually killed his wife and kid or if he just blamed himself. I never heard the wife saying 'no max no' but he might of killed her, it was a pretty wack game though.

yeah i got that game for Christmas and solved it in less than 8 days but i thought it was soo rad!! the ending could of been better for sure but whatever i loved the game and the bullet time was sweet!! made the game that much better than duke nukem and stuff! did you guys play it for PC, xbox or ps2?

i have to bring this to a close after 4ish years.

max did not kill the wife and baby, he just felt he was to blame. those trips weren't memories, it was him saying it was his fault in his mind. may this thread now re-rest in peace.
 
o i beat it in like a day 4 years ago. and max payne 2. but i was just replaying the 2nd one again today and it was so fun to play again. then i looked at max payne threads on here and i just had to close this Dateline Special of a thread.
 
I remember getting all creeped out by the dude yelling about the devil and shit. something about lucifer and loeke and shit. Damn.
