His part was so sick... like Charley Ager's part (180s in pow like whoah) and Schuster's part. A worth buying movie in my opinion. Discuss and comment about this movie.
 
It was amazing. Powderly goodness, shifties blew my mind, and it just goes to show that the PNW truly is the best region.
 
yeah that was the best part of hte movie for sure. the rest of it kinda sucked, i dont know why but alot of the movies this year kinda sucked. pnw had some really sick skiing, but they did such a shitty job of making it interesting, the song choice, footage, editing and everything made it really boring, max hill's part was the only part that kept me awake.

and plehouse has gone soooo far downhill from whiteshine and skimatic. whiteshine had some of the best music and most unique feeling, skimatic was way original and kept you pumped, then in save they have to go and bitch abot global warming, and the movie had nothing unique about it, it pretty much just showed the tricks they were doing with normal editing and plain music choice, it had none of the typical plehouse style, or pretty much no style at all.

then believe atleast had some of the most crazy skiing ive seen but they made it sooooo serious and plain.

idea was sweet, i was expecting more, but the skiing, editing, and music all matched really well to make a really relazing but entertaning movie.

and yeah dude was the best poorboys movie ive seen yet easily, it was totally original in how they put it together, they had funny stuff in it and it still kept you pretty stoked for over an hour.

and what is it with skiing movies being so scarred of being fun? every fucking movie has to be so serious hardcore badass, its almost depressing to watch these movies, it makes me want to switch to snowboarding. honestly who skis cause they want to be serious and look badass? pretty much nobody, and if that is why you ski then you should go play football and be a badass fag there.

 
I saw him at blue a season or two ago, I'm not too sure. But man, he is so amazing. You can tell he's just dicking around in the park, and still he's so smooth and relaxed.

Who cares if they're a little serious. I mean global warming is their main concern, they're going to be serious. I'm glad skiing has a different vibe than snowboarding and it isn't helping if you hate on every movie put out. Just be stoked on it.
 
yeah im not really saying the skiing was bad, most of it was awesome, i just think they did a horrible way of making it interesting, it was just really plain, like most ski movies
 
Just got it, a little bit of a letdown, but a sick movie still. I liked the last segment, but then the movie ended just as it was getting good.
 
just got my copy of pnw yesterday, max did have a pretty good seg, but i personally thought brandon kellys was the best, and close behind was joe schuster.
 
^^^ Feel the same way, but what can you expect when you've seen IDEA 20 times. Also I like the regional edit better for some reason. It's probally like wine better with time.
 
i liked the movies so far except save and believe. PNW kicked ass, it wasnt as....fun as photoplay, but charley, max, and sherpa destroyed.
 
max is a dirty pirate hooker and is the only human i have ever seen do a zero shifty, bring his tails beyond 90 degrees, grab blunt, and then bring them back and stomp... all while wearing an NFC chargers windbreaker and goggles over the hood... quite the ridiculous pirate
 
i thought PNW was pretty well rounded. lots of cool switch landings, some sick lines, hill's shifties, some pukefest face shots, all pretty good.

didn't like the music though, can't say there's a single song i'd ever actually want to listen to. but that's all subjective, so you might like it even though i didn't.
 
I def. fell asleep during PNW at IF3, the skiing was sick, but the music sucked ass and it dragged on for wayyyyy too long. Max def. had one of the best segments though, I believe it was entertaining enough to keep me awake.

Plehouse needed to do more to address the global warming issue throughout the entire movie. The way they dressed in hazmat suits, and put some National Geographic shots and titles at the end about global warming didn't really do much for explaining global warming and the effects it can have. To be more serious they should have made more of an effort to address the causes of global warming and what we can do to stop it.

I was expecting a lot more out of it, and it was a huge letdown from Skimatic, which I thought was their best flick to date. Frank R. slays shit though I will watch Plehouse just to see his urban domination.
 
uhh how about no global warming shit at all? its a ski movie, if we want some boring ass bitching about global warming we can turn on the tv for 10 minuites and hear the same crap we have heard over and over again, all save did was repeat what we all have heard hundreds of times, it just ruined it for me.
 
that's what I'm saying. It seemed like they copped out and used the most cookie-cutter way of touching on global warming. If they were serious about making it more interesting they needed to do something original with the idea.
 
PNW was okay. I personnally liked Photoplay much better (def best movie form last year)

I thought save was dope! Much better than skimatic the music was fine and jf killed hard! As for the global warming stuff i thought it was perfect, too much of it would of pissed off a lot of people. You do have tor ealize how important global warming is.
