Hey..i want to go to whistler at the end of the year and i was wondering how much it costs? im not sure iv done the math right so just making sure.. i wanna stay for 10 days (8 skiing) and ill be with 2-4 friends, or on a rare off chance..by my self.

heres what i got for price:

flight from toronto to vancouver (round trip): $686

place to stay: 1000 (split 3-5 ways)

Tickets: $400

Food: $400

other stuff and luxuries: $300

help me out!

I don't see you eating $400 in food. I spend like $25 a week on food. soo unless you are the fattest kid ever - or plan on eating at fancy restaurants every night..... yea.

and finding a place to stay for 3 to 5 people for that long is gona cost an ass load more than that. youcan stay at the hostel for pretty cheap though. but you should book it in advance if you want all your friends in the same room as you.

well..for the food..one guy who went said like 40 a day...so i figured 40x10=400..id have like $20 a day if even that...so maybe like 200 for food..and we were planning on getting a condo or hotel room and sharing the room and the cost

You could make it on five-dollars a day for food, if you know how to shop properly...

Aww.. Japan memories... Cheese on bread for a week.. We probably only spent 10 dollars on food that entire week! Man, that was a sweet thanks-giving.

Anyway, I assume since you were prepared to spend forty a day, you don't need to cut your budget down that much... I'd say ten dollars a day, per person. That's usually how much my friends and I budget for food.

actually the guy who gave me that price was my science teacher..he's a ski instructor around here somewhere..actually..his name is mike..i wonder if he's ski instructor mike??? hmmm..anyway..yeah..back to the point...how much will i pay for tickets, accomadations and other stuff

um. yeah your room is gonna cost soo much more.... 40 bucks is alot of money to spend on food. and well ur too young to drink so u ahve no worries there.. uh.. lift tickets arent they like 48 or something? im sure u can get a 5 day discount

someone said theres a place for $90 a night rite? ..were not looking for luxury..just a place to sleep between skiing and more skiing. a 1 bedroom place is enough..i lijke sleeping in the living room! hah..anyway.. more than $100 a night? ..oh and make that 8 nights..not 10

McDonalds breakfast meal: $3

McDonalds Bacon Chessburger: $4

McDonalds number 6: $5

you can get mr noodles for like 20 cents each if you buy a big box of them. eggs are dirt cheap and fill you up well. a loaf of bread is 98 cents a big bag of rice is soooooo cheep and get some pasta sause. you can live off of like $5 a day. drink water and take vitamines. cheese is really expencive.

and that $90 a night was probibly per person, check out the hostel it is way cheaper.

Call whistler, they can hook you up, I think between 4 guys it was like...shit I forgot it was december but it was pretty cheap, ski in ski out with a hot tub.

Also, check out freeze, skiing or freeskier, they have wicked deals like $720US for airfare, accommodation and lift tickets! And of course check out whistler-blackcomb.com, they have some deals.

hey mauii - when you say end of the year - do you mean end of the coming winter, or like, end of the summer skiing? 'cause if you get a pass at blue mountain for the coming winter than you get 50% off tickets at Whistler.
