Dude what the fuck? They are a really small band that makes very little money. They live off of a very small amount of money and they make music that kicks ass. I believe that they are the best band around and I'm not gonna let you steal music from them. God forbid you spend $10.00 or something on their best album yet. Yeah go ahead....steal their music. They're nice people. Fuck them over. Do it, I fucking dare you.
 
iTunes. Are you being serious? There is zero excuse to illegally download their album. If you want to download Lil Wayne's album, I don't care. He has plenty of money. Matt and Kim do not. The album is on Amazon too.

considering your a fan of e-40, im gonna go out on a limb and say you dont know matt and kim's financial situation. also your an idiot for being such a dick about such a little thing. however he has a point, dont ask other people to do work for you and, although everyone does it, downloading music sucks for bands like matt and kim
 
if theres any band you should buy there shit, its matt and kim. i refuse to download there music because i know they actually care about the music and not getting rich. they deserve my dollar

dont be such sacks, they need your money, its only $6.99 on itunes douche, ^ im all for downloading illegally, but most of the small bands i do that for are broken up, and arnt trying to start making music, also you need to support people during the economy poop stain
 
Well, i'll just take a shit and wipe my ass with 6.99 i saved. Chill out, music is for everyone, regardless of whether or not they are a small band or the most known band in the world. PEOPLE DOWNLOAD MUSIC, it's been happening for years, and as hard as the government and chumps like you try to stop it, you can't.

E-40 = a Billboard Top 100 sort of a rapper. Matt and Kim refuse to play anything other than Top 100 rap hit before their shows. Fact yo.

You are being so insensitive towards the entire music community. It's being ravaged by illegal downloading. And you're right -- it can't be stopped, but please don't call people who aquire music in a legal and honorable manner "chumps". Thanks dawg.
 
I admit i'm being insensitive, but there are so many upcoming bands that need the money from sales, and although the illegal downloads take away from those sales, it is the fastest way of spreading the music and thus gaining popularity, more shows, tours. I believe it equals out, and if you want to give a bonus buy their CD. It's the way radiohead gave In Rainbows away on download, for the choice, and it's why so many bands have done so since. Every week a new upcoming band is posted on waffles with a free leech to their album, and thousands of people download it. If i like one of those bands, and i can't find their albums online, and i happen to see it in a music store, THEN i will perhaps buy it. Imagine if i bought all the music i owned...oh boy that would be fun to add up.
 
They are indeed a great band, but do you know how much revenue a band actually makes from its record sales? Its not much, all of that money goes to the record label, most of a bands earnings come from shows and touring.
That being said, you should still buy their album because in this day and age of record labels signing bands and people that all look and sound the same simply because that type of music is popular you should support a label that signed some one on artistic merit.

really. that's great that you're so into matt and kim but it doesn't mean that everyone shares your enthusiasm. broke college age kids do not have the money to blow on cds all of the time. i used to when i was a little kid and feel that i bought so many cds back in the day that i dont have to feel guilty when i dl a cd or two now. and stop trying to sound like you are a martyr for matt and kim and everything that is wrong with the music industry in general.

plus little bands like that then are probably not making much money from touring and shit n the first place so think of it as free marketing for their name.. ive never heard of them so shit im gonna go have a listen. maybe i'll download them and then shit put it on a mix CD, a friend hears it, likes it, gets into them, then fuck, we go to a show. shows = money for them. wooooooo everyones happy.

i dont like matt and kim. daylight is already played. no way will they be the next mgmt ever. i can never stop listening to mgmt. but after about 10 listens to a matt adn kim song and im over it

hey man i have a question for you. i downloaded both of there CD's illegally, but than paid them for some other stuff. where does that put me.
 
I'm on your side for not getting it for free but didn't they sell day night to Bacardi for lots of $$$$ so there not too poor but by their shit.
 
who really cares millions of people download music free and plenty of people would never be able to listen to shit if they had to buy everything. so I bet Matt & Kim would rather have people listen to their music for free than have no one listen because they cant afford it
