yea, i saw them with 311 as well at the Detriot show and they were pretty good. Kind of weird though because it is a jewish guy with full getup and long facial hair with a hat and a suit on singing regge music. but their music is pretty good. i bought their live cd (live at the stubbs i think) and it is on its way to me
crazy thing at the show, after they finished their set i went to the pisser to drop the kids off at the pool and i was waiting in line. all of a sudden the guitar player comes out of a stall and proceeds on like nothing. i was like holy shit and couldn't believe it. some drunk ass hole next to me was like look at the fucking crazy guy. i was like that crazy guy is from matisyahu and then he became star struck and went over to try and talk with him while he was washing his hands. funniest part was the guy was trying to carry on a conversation with the guy from matisyahu and the guy could not hear him because he had ear plugs in...

my bro likes him and i just listened to his a couple of his cd's while on a road trip. Hes not terrible, but i really cant get into it as much as other similar reggae/rap stuff. His songs all just kinda sound to similar for me. I think is good, but not that good. Without his religious beliefs he would not be well known, because he just isnt quite good enough.
