the first input thing id what im trying to figure out, simplify (square root x^3) divided (cube root x^4). i know the answer obviously but i don't know how to work that out. if someone could explain it to me that would be AWESOME (grade 10 math so nothing too in depth)

thanks for the help guys but still doesn't really show me how to figure it out, i kNOW the answer is root 6 x. Guess i will just try and go in early tmrrw before my test, +K

Wrong. Say x=1.

LS=[sr(1)^3]/[cr(1)^4]

LS=[sr(1)]/[cr(1)]

LS=1

With your answer:

RS=(1/2)(1)

RS=1/2

Thus LS does not = RS.

With the correct answer:

RS=1/(1)^6

RS=1

Therefore LS = RS.

I haven't taken math in 5 years and it's great. The sad thing is, I used to be really good at math. Tested into calc 3 my freshman year of college. Fuck math.

I have nothing to contribute to this thread besides to claim that I haven't taken math in 3 years and don't ever need to again.
