Material to put on drop in ramp.

I would say astro turf or carpet, as long as it is screwed down. That way the snow can stick to it, and without snow it should slide well.

i tried carpet the other day and it didn't work that well--But i used a thicker carpet--if your going to use carpet, use the thin kind that doesn't have thick brussels--i am just thinking of getting turf cause its the most reliable

^did you put water or anything on your carpet to make it slide? i have some extra carpet lying around and i wanna hit some rails now, with or without snow.

i have like industrial carpet stuff thats real low cut and i use that all the time for my drop in. if you just get some soapy water it slides real well. i was hitting a 10 ft flat box thats about a foot and a half off the ground with no problem

yeah--i put soap and drenhced it w/ water..i even put this lubricant spray on it that i found...it didn't work good at all, but i think its becuase it was a really thick and long insulation carpet if that made any sense

a big blue tarp works way better then carpet and is reasonbly cheap deifietly the best way to go

for my drop in i used that black plastic filter-type stuff (6 inches wide and it comes in a roll) that is used to keep leaves out of gutters and stapled it to the wood of the ramp.

ya. recently i just got some orange construction type fence and a tarp. i made a runway with the tarp under the fencing on my small backyard hill. it was probably 20-25 feet long and i watered it down just a bit and worked great. the tarp is key tho cuz its too slow with the just the grass under
