Masters video

not that i'm really complaining about the video on the home page of the masters, but it was almost at the point where it was difficult to tell even what the trick was because the quality was so bad, i was wondering if a) somebody else filmed some good stuff at the masters and would post it in good quality or b) maybe the video on the home page could be posted again but with some really nice quality, even if it will take 10 minutes or something to download......thakns
 
i'm not necessarily unhappy with the footage that was posted, i'm just saying that there's definetely better out there
 
dude chill. next time you go out there and film it if it sucks so bad. it's not like you're paying for a copy or anything. great tact to bitch about free stuff.
 
whoever filmed it might not have a budget for 4 different angles, 4 16mm's, etc etc.... i havent seen it yet myself, but give the filmer a break.... at least we got something to look at....

There's a torrent of a divx version of the video. It's much higher quality and 90 megs.

I'm sorry the video was shitty quality. Our camera really isn't the greatest, and I guess it showed. I tried really, really hard to make it good.

Two main problems happened:

1) I was a little too far behind a lot of the athletes.

2) We tried to broadcast the whole comp by having our second camera filming from the top. Cool idea, but everyone hated it. This did not have our second camera filming closeups on the course.

If the video had been a mixture of the sketchy followcams, and some stationary shots I think it would have been a lot better.

I'm sure there will be a lot of better videos that come out. I did my best, and sucked at it. I apologize to all of you for making such a terrible video. It's my fault completely.

If anyone made good videos, please submit them!
 
That one is better, the one shot from the top the whole time sucks though, I can tell whats going on. And thes like 3 hours of it.
 
oh hey now. it didn't suck. i was very, vary happy to see the video. it had some sweet shots in it (candide's stall had me going "yessssssss").

don't beat yourself up about it.
 
Yeah, it didn't really turn out how we wanted it to. the whole concept was to be able to watch the entire contest like you were there.

Didn't really work, but hey we tried really hard to get it so that you guys could watch the entire contest.

Once again, I ENCOURAGE people who have better footage to make vids and submit them!
 
learn how to do follow cams so you can be worth keeping around as part of the NS team.
 
Ooop... ok now it's fixed.

I had the ip set incorrectly, so if you re-download the torrent file, it will now work perfectly!

Damn me and my computer mistakes...
