Anyone ever heard of massanutten resort? I guess they have a decent mountain. Anyone know anything about them? my grandparents live on the resort so im going down there for a week, unfortunately it has been like 40 and raining for the last few days but i guess its getting colder and they are making snow like crazy.

yeah i work at wintergreen, definantly go to snowshoe, but if you need to stay close go to wintergreen before mass. the snow quality is much better the parks at both suck terribly.

They all are not very good. Appalachian has the sickest rails in the South East. 40 foot flat, huge flat down, like 15 flat to 30 down, an S rail, a Y rail, a burly trap, a rainbow, some smaller flat rails, an urban style handrail and a down flat down thats pretty damn steep. And a pretty fun jump thats like ~30ft or so.

Anyways, Snowshoe has the shittiest terrain of any mountain I have been to, and I ski in North Carolina everyday.
