taxes will not be astronomical and besides taxes are good for the country. They help the schools roads and tons of other shit. if you dont want to contribute to the community then get the fuck out of the united states

He pledges to cut the property tax, but this is IMPOSSIBLE. Every expert that examined his plan for this, democratic, republican, and independent, said that the figures dont add up, they say that cutting the property tax is literally impossible. Also, he says mass is shit financially, yet he is going to take state funding to give tuition breaks to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Translation: Cheaper college for people who are not legal americans. how does that make you feel? you as a legit american are paying fill tuition while some mexican gets a huge break? fuckin unfair.

Some big steps have already been taken in that direction this year, so it might be sooner than you think! Well, except now the Republicans can't pass any more military commissions acts, so that might slow things down for a while. But don't worry, the southern states are outbreeding the north by a ridiculous amount, so pretty soon the electoral math will be such that Republicans won't even have to win swing states to control the White House, and plan "No More Democracy" can proceed relatively unchallenged! Limbaugh/Coulter 08!
 
dumbest thing i have ever hear, when money is in the hands of government it is not being put into the economy. when it is in the hands of citizens it goes into the economy.

And what the hell do you mean about he doesnt know what his plans are? Hello, he was just voted governer, obviously he has a plan for this state. And how the hell can you compare him to someone like Dukakis when he hasnt even stepped foot into office yet? What kind of comparison is that? And the immigrant factor...there always going to be immigrants in this country, and every country. So would you rather have them running around undocumented and uneducated, or give them a chance to get an education and become a citizen? You cant make claims to things that have not happened yet, it's just common sense. Something which you lack apparentley.

the reason your parents pay high taxes is cuz they're RICH. They deserve to pay high taxes. You're lucky enough to have parents that make bank and you have the audacity to bitch about having to give away a little bit of it to give to poor people. wow. party of morals indeed.

 
no, but after a certain bracket you don't pay any more income taxes so lets say, 150,000 dollars and above you have to give up about 50% of your income when income tax, property tax, and etc are all factored in. this means that for every 100 dollars you spend you have to make 200. so if you make 150,000 that means your income after tax is 75,000. this will put you in the middle upper class bracket.

but what if you make lets say 500,000 a year? well you already passed 150,000 dollar bracket so that means you are in the 50% tax bracket. but thats cool though right because you are still able to keep 250,000 dollars of the 500,000. this would put you in the upper class bracket.

so what i am trying to say is that it is very difficult for middle upper class families to break into the upper class bracket. it sort of keeps them tied down. its the toughest for the middle class.

Im 18 and I do have the right to vote, im not some 14 year old. and, for your information, my parents didnt tell me anything about this election, i went and did the research by myself, and believe me, i know what im talking about. I got a letter of opinion published in the local paper. if u want a copy of it, just ask. But dont trash on me when you know nothing about what i did to formulate my opinion. I knew each of the candidates stances on every issue. I know what im talking about. And, i said the Dukakkis thing because patrick told everyone on live tv that he thought Dukakkis was a good gov. FOr your info, Dukakkis remains one of the most incompetent and hated governors to date in mass.

I align myself with healey because i believe in what she believes. She didnt promise to cut the property tax simply because it cannot be done. Patrick made false pledges to cut it when experts say that it is impossible. Patrick plans on putting an additional 1000 police on the streets yet he failed to tell us how he plans on paying for them. Police in mass make anywhere from 60-80 thousand dollars a year. This adds up. Where is he going to get the money to fund it? If u ask me, he will have to raise taxes to fund this, something he said he would never do. But taxes will most def. be raised. He is against the 5% tax rollback when the people of mass voted in favor for it a number of years ago yet he advocated for the removal of the Gay marriage question from the ballots, saying that the people of mass decided on this and that it made no sense to argue with what they decided. Well, the people of mass voted for the 5% rollback, yet he has made it his goal to reverse this when the people of mass unanimously voted for it.

The fact that he is willing to give subsidized education and housing to illegals is even worse. One day, you'll be looking for an appartment and you wont have enough money to afford it. Well, some illegals come along. Guess what they get? Reduced rates on the cost of the appartment. How can we give these deals to illegal immigrants, people who do not even pay mass taxes, when regular americans pay full price? Its ludicrous.

Well, i can c why u support patrick, he isn't tough on crime, and obviously ur braking the law, so i guess ur all set under this Admin.
 
The fact that I smoke weed has nothing to do with this. All my marks are 85+, and I have a scholarship to any state university, marijuana has in no way decreased my intellect, and my support of Patrick has nothing to do with his stance on crime. What sucks is you voted for Healey. And she didn't win shit.

well, consider yourself lucky because the kids who want to go to a state university have to pay full price while illegals get in for cheap. And sorry for the weed comment, i just have zero tolerance for drug use, its your choice and i respect that, sorry for the comment. I just think that Healey brings a lot more to the table.
