Martini Recovery continues

To all the reactions about a bruised heart and even the question about its ramifications... It basically means that your heart is just a bit more fragile than normal. He is already in bed for the splenectomy, so he should be fine. I got a bruised heart from a hit in lacrosse (yes, it is insane) and I wasn't allowed to do anything for a couple of days. The doctors said anything that would really getmy heart rate up could result in a heart attack. Rest for a few days and it is fine. Bet his ribs hurt like no other, though.

Thanks for all the support guys!! Luckily this is nothing like my knee, I should be back skiing in a month. I fell on a dub kink by catching my front edge on the last down. Relatively mellow fall for how bad it turned out. This season has been one of my best ever so far, and I can't wait for the rest. For those who want video parts, I have been filming all season with PBP, TGR, and STEPT, and im stoked have have some segs again! Also I have another video blog series dropping soon. Thanks again

Well good thing he didn't tear his acl again and the recovery is alot shorter this time. Heal up bud!!

I'm glad to hear it's a short Martini recovery this time around, but man it has to be painful. Looking forward to all your segments for this season, you sure have been busy! Bless you!

Damn, that's super rough. He up fast man, I think I speak for everyone on NS when I say get better quick so we can watch more illin edits/segments from you!!

i dont even want to think about how huge of an impact it would take to bruise you heart, martinis not a little guy either

hopefully he gets back quick so that we can see some more of him throwing gang signs at the camera, trying to sound smarter than he is, and making movies titled "How We Livin" which features skiers from NEW HAMPSHIRE.

WOW, what a jerk you are!! Do you know Stept Productions most recent movie Network is up for Powder Awards "Movie of the Year"!?! That's quite a huge accomplishment for any Filmer, let alone an amateur production company. Nick is an awesome rider, and so up beat and resilient. I've never even heard a negative comment by Nick regarding his injury's. He's a stand up guy!

holy shit. man i hope he is okay. he was my windells coach and he was so stoked to be back on skiis in the summer and now he was to take em off for a while. that sucks

Nick's a trooper! I bruised my heart going into my senior year of high school in an accident involving a cushman (like a golf cart, but bigger faster and with only 3 wheels). I shattered my pelvis and received major trauma to my heart resulting in a bruised heart. The worst part of the accident physically was the broken pelvis, i couldn't walk for 3 months...but with my heart, i was required to take medication for it for the 2 years that followed the incident and had to go in for detailed check ups and stress tests all the time to make sure all was going as planned.

Bruising your heart is never fun.

Damn man ++++ Vibes. I met him in the denver airport when i was by myslef waiting for my flight and he came over sat and talked with me. Great dude forsure. Get well soon man!
