I just started doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu this year, and let me tell you its one of the funnest things i have ever done.

anyone else do Martial Arts on here?

Know how I know you're gay?

Hint: Because you grapple with guys, aggressively. You prefer being on the bottom with him in your "guard." You will gladly open your legs for any man. You would rather take it to the ground than standing up. The list goes on...

I could never do just Brazilian Jiu Jitsu it's going to worry me if you get to a blue belt and learn any leg moves.

Muay Thai, Catch Wrestling, No Gi Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Jeet Kune Do.

Ive been studying for 2 years now and I love love love it! My confidence, self respect and self control is higher than its every been before. I've wrestled my entire life and the lessons you learn from tradition sports compliments the philosophy of Martial Arts very well.

PLUS, Chicks dig dudes who can defend themselves.

O yeah you gonna kick then wrestle anyone who attacks you?

I've got my black belt in 3 arts. Kyuk-ido, judo, and jiu-jitsu. Kyuk-ido is basically just tae kwon do, but with a variety of disciplines mixed in like aikido and judo. In both kyuk ido and judo i quit just before testing for my 2nd degree black belts.

I wanted to when I was a kid but my parents wouldn't let me "Because of religion" or something like that. Because believing in a wizard in the sky was so important, oh well.

:(

I was so jealous of everybody and their stupid belts.

Dope, my instructor is a 3rd degree black belt. Unfortunately I'm at a college club so I can't test for belts, but I'm gonna join a dojo during the summer time.

I trained Taekwondo from second - ninth grade, I've got a black belt. But i quit a few weeks after that because no more motivation anymore.

That seems to make sense. I don't like wrestling too much when sparring but the MT Clinch is very similar to irish collar and tie wrestling which is something I favor so it works out really well.

To answer your question I'd rather knee or elbow someone while in close because I'm short and can't rely on reach, although I would only ever hit someone if I was getting paid for it.

The problem is you sound like a short frail bitch. In street fights or if you're being attacked the game changes, if you're fighting someone a lot bigger than you you're a huge disadvantage next time you go to the gym try to wrestle someone who weighs 210 let me know how that goes.

I'm 198 right now, I cut to 170/155

you sound like youve never even seen a street fight, they ALL end up on the ground regardless of size or whether or not either fighter wants them to

no most street fights do not end up on the ground, go YouTube street fights if you see someone being taken down to the ground it's because they don't know how to fight or a much bigger guy is leaning on them, if you see two people who actually trying to do damage to one another they usually keep it on their feet. when you have a street fight that goes on for a couple minutes then yeah it's going to end up on the ground but most don't the one for that long unless you have your eyes closed and your flailing around. I also apologize to whoever the bird icon person is I thought you were a different member I have some slight hostility towards.

main reason they end on the ground: nobody breaks it up until then. unless theres a knockout its going to the ground

1.yelling

2.pushing

3.flurry of punches

(assuming no knockouts)

4. one guy gains an advantage in the punching

5. guy losing decides to

a close the distance- results in stand up grappling

b create more distance- both fighters now off balance, retreater either runs out of space and ends up stand up grappling or stumbles/gets put to the ground

your carefully selected knockout compilation isnt worth watching and you generally seem to be trying to sell this persona on here that literally nobody is buying

that wasnt carefully selected that is the first video that comes up when you youtube worldstar street fight just like you told me too. You said ALL street fights in every situation always ends up on the ground regardless of what either fighters wants. You are now changing around your words because you were wrong.

^watches the last 5 minutes of the redozone channel, assumes every play in every game is a touchdown.

I wasnt wrong you're nit picking bc I used an absolute. Like, 'substantively I know he's right, but he used this one word so if I intentionally misinterpret it then I can pretend that I'm technichally right' strong stuff

Not all street fights end up on the ground you're wrong, and if you want to belive that then go ahead, I'm done arguing.

99% sure you didn't even understand the last sentence.

continue trying to convince teenager skiers that you're alpha, its a great look

#bullshit also 170/155 doesn't mean anything, I have no idea what you just tried to say.

155 lbs / 170 lbs.

I'm currently coming off an injury and weigh 198 because I had a Chicago style deep dish pizza last night with a couple friends.

Anything else you would like to assume about my life Internet bully?

I started karate recently and its a lot of fun. My legs got more flexible and a lot more endurant so i can stand the slopes longer than ever especially in backcountry. Also with karate, my hips got more amplitude and i feel the spins a lot easier to throw. I think its a good complement to skiing and both can go together.
