im goin to marthas vinyard tommarow for a week with nitehawk4787 and my family, and was just wondering if anyone here goes there , and if their is anything i can fuckin do there because usually its super boring.

no seriously, we need stuff to do. i suggest we go fishing on a charter boat, catch 40 pound bass and sell them to these chinese men at the docks for a cool 100$. or we can go to the beach and be on full chick alert..

what part of the island are you staying on? in edgartown there's a 24 hr stop and shop. that's really fun. south beach is the best beach on the main part of the island, don't swim at state beach or inkwell, it's adjacent to the harbor and is really disgusting. the cliffs out in aquinnah are pretty badass. oak bluffs, e-town and vineyard haven have a few good shops but mostly just over prized designer crap. gayhead is nice... there isn't a lot 'to do' but I think it's fun to just play a little golf, sail, go to the beach and read... just relax.

Take a ferry over to Nantucket and see the greatest concentration of hot girls in your life, and party hard. Last summer I spent a week on Nantucket (usually Im just on cape cod) with 5 of my buddies and we raged the entire time. There are so many people our/your age on the island that its easy to meet people and have a good time. I'm not sure if Marthas Vineyard is like Nantucket cause i havent been there, but if it is, go to the beach, meet people, and rage.

I like nantucket better than martha's vinyard. vinyard is always so touristy when I go. if any of you are ever on/around cape cod, shout me a holler.

MV can be pretty rowdy but not if youre a tourist, the kids who know how to party are the ones that stay on the island all summer and work. there are just a lot of kids who go stay in their guest houses and keep an eye on their parents house while they have renters and stuff.

ya meeting the locals, or the people that live there all summer, is key. my buddy had a house on nantucket all last summer while his parents stayed in wellfleet on the cape....it was ridiculous. nonstop shitshow

theyre are gonna be toursits everywhere, especially now. believe me i see the ferry traffic comeing from there everyday (i live in woods hole).

if u surf, you MIGHT be able to get some ok waves down at gay head. other than that....meh
