Ha, I'm completely sure that you have no idea what you're talking about.  I could have my dad email me photos of the breeding grounds of the birds.  You'd be surprised at how much water is involved.  By the way, there already IS drilling in Alaska, which is the reason why towns like Prudhoe Bay exist.  There's a 799-mile-long pipeline that runs from there to Valdez and pumps millions of gallons of oil.  Just to let you know.  I'm the last person on here who you need to be schooling up on drilling in AK.
Considering I drive a car that gets 45mpg, no, I don't complain about gas prices.  I also own a very large truck that gets 8-10mpg, but I realize how much gas it guzzles and that it's my own decision to drive a vehicle that drains my pocket.  That's one reason why it's been parked and hardly driven 1000 miles away since April.
