Hey m&a

Here are my first few water timelapses. shot in town, around a few rivers from where i live.

All pans are done in post, unfortunately. I have a dolly slider and timer in the works, but have not fixed the kinks.

Just wanted to see what you guys thought. and i had this done before terje came out with "the water" just a coincidence haha

thanks

banding was also a problem for me in the 1st shot. Tried editing in 10 bit, keying every frame instead of every 24, and put on a banding filter. none of which really worked that well.

sick, my last one was my favorite.

My only suggestion would be on the plain river ones to up the shutter speed a tad, seemed kinda "blinky"

Looks sick! The bubbles spinning around in the eddies are awesome. I want to get out and take me some of those shots.

real sick man! can't wait to see what shots you get when you figure out the motorized system.

i think you could do a little more with the color. since you don't have any skin tones in your images, i think it would be pretty easy to get some really unique and stunning color grades.

thanks will. my buddies got a diy slider and battery track he is willing to sell me, just short on funds atm.

but i shot all of those on pretty overcast days, a few of them with intermittent sunlight through the clouds. Any suggestions for color correcting besides upping the saturation to make the colors pop?
