and why do you own two pairs of nordica boots when you work for a competitor? we all know that riding other companies gear can get you in big trouble. so whats the deal? are you REA:LY working for atomic? if so, i feel bad for you anyways. i'd be looking for another company to get with, they wont be around in 5-10 yrs

surely he owns 2 pairs of nordica boots because it's what fits his foot, which in the end is the decider on the boot for you. as far as im aware he isnt a sponsored rider for atomic and so isnt out there representing the brand in the same way and so his boot choice makes no difference and wont get him in trouble. just because you work for a company doesnt mean you are forced to use their product even if it doesnt fit your needs.if it were a pro and he was riding another companies boots in competitions, on film etc on the regular that might cause problems but he's not.

i didnt mean to wade in on this argument, i originally came to have a look at the marker hate.but stayed for the shitstorm that brewed.
 
The fact that this dude skis his competitors, especially nordica, only validates my argument that much more. That's the funny part about all of this. I'm lovin seein all you guys hop on his dick, as you put it, it's hilarious. Because technically, if he's wearing nordy boots, and you're on his dick, doesn't that mean you're all riding nordica too? FYI, product developers at all brands have competitors boots for comparison. I'm sure he also has Dalbello, Full Tilt, Lange, Salomon, etc... This is how other brands figure their shit out. You think the product developers at Nordica didn't ski a Dalbello Krypton or a Full Tilt to figure out how to proceed with building their 3 piece boot?

Believe me, I'm not hopping on anyone's dick at all. I was a bootfitter and used to fit everyone from kids and weekend adults to Nor-Am and Canadian team athletes. I've skied in Salomons, Langes, Dalbello (current), Full Tilts, Atomics, and believe it or not Nordica. After everything I've skied, you know what? I like the Dalbello boot best because it fits my foot with minimal punching, grinding, etc...

In the end, your argument is rediculous and you really need to pull the Nordica reps cock out of your mouth.

No kidding... Anyways, I'm done with this thread and this guy, as we should all be. I mean there's like what, 5 or 6 with the consensus that Full Tilts work, and work well as a ski boot in today's industry, and there is 1 guy who says they don't work at because of their old design. Then he doesn't answer questions with adequate info, has poorly formed opinions, and then doesn't even post pics of old Pivot's like he said he would. Basically just a waste of anyone's time from here on in; and as a result we know what shops to stay away from in Cincinnati.
 
Hey no one said anything about being interested in seeing the old pivots we have. Ill be more than happy to post them. I don't have poorly formed opinions and Im pretty sure I made myself pretty clear as to why I feel one design is better than the other. I'm glad your full tilts work for you. Go you. You're awesome. My argument was simply against all the fan boys that buy them just because of the trend and that they should simply think about boots on a more technical level. If you can't appreciate it then so be it. And of course there's more people agreeing with you. It's easy to speak up when another person or two has commented agreeing with your opinion. Others agreed with me too just not as outspoken as you fanboys are. If there's any questions you'd like answered specifically feel free, I'm al ears. But you goons have not shown the ability to discuss on this thread in a way that allows for proper open discussion at a mature level. All you talk about is who's dick is in someone's ass and who's suckin who's dick. anyway, i love my marker griffs, no problems, they feel a bit cheap at times but they get the job done and aren't shitty at all.

The toe pieces are loose, as in the top part is basically coming off. It's hard to explain. Also, my boots will come out of my heel pieces even when they're fully up. And, the bindings are overall just loose and crappy. Tightening DIN and everything else doesn't help. I hate em
 
Aha oh god this thread coming back to life after my callout post...

But while we're here, have you gone back to the bindings and checked the forward pressure?
