Marker Squire Compatible With 130mm Brakes?

I'm looking to buy some bindings to mount on my 2011 K2 Hellbents. I prefer the Marker Squire because I want to keep the ski as light as possible. I know the widest brakes that come with the Squire are 110mm, which obviously won't work. evo has some 130mm brakes, but they are labeled for Duke/Baron/Jester/Griffon. I would assume they are compatible with the Squires too since they are also a Royal Family binding, but can anyone confirm this?

Thanks NS

Personally I would just spend a little extra money and get the griffons, I do not know if the regular royal family brakes will fit on the squires, but I would assume they do. Why do you need to keep it light? It is already 132 underfoot and will not be light no matter what and you will presumably be skiing it inbounds almost all the time if you are getting regular alpine bindings, so weight isn't really an issue. My personal opinion is that squires are pretty cheap and not worth it unless you are less than like 140 pounds or something.

squire weight: 1540 grams

griffon weight: 1900 grams

difference= 360 grams = .8 lbs

Are you really gunna notice the weight difference? Probably not, but you will notice the difference if one of the squires breaks...just my opinion, do whatever you want

ya squires are fucking terrible, if you wanted light skis then you shouldn't have bought hellbents

Ya I would cringe seeing a new hellbent being mounted with a squire. Get the griffons at least, better binding and way more reliable.

That helps. I thought there would be a bigger difference, but yeah I'll probably end up going with Griffons because I'm 6 feet tall and 150lbs. Thanks
