Marker Schizo Problems Please Help

So i bought a pair of k2 kung fujas last year and i had them mounted with marker griffon schizo's. Ive skiied them maybe 6 times and ive noticed that when i adjust them to be all the way forward, the the mark that says stop or +3 which is supposed to be true center, within half a run they are already back to +2. So i took them to the shop that i bought them from to get them checked out the tech tells me that they arent supposed to go all the way forward and that they are only supposed to go to +2 even though the adjustment plate clearly says +3. So can anyone that has had this problem or knows anything more than i do about the adjustments for this binding please help me out.

When you turn the adjustment screw is it smooth or does it go click?

The old bindings are the smooth ones, my friend went through like 3 pairs where the binding just wouldn't stay in one place, he would do a run and they would move 1cm or more on the ski.

Apparently the latest ones have a detented adjuster so they shouldn't slide around.

Just out of interest, they're not on Kung Fujas's with insert screws are they?

its smooth and thats exactly what these ones do, they move just about a cm. and no they dont have the insert screws. did he get them replaced under warranty? the shop tech is trying to tell me that it is what it is basically and i think thats bullshit

Yup, warranty. Ask your store to talk directly to K2/Marker, tell them you want the new ones that have the clicky adjustment screw.

Must have been some ooooold stock Schizos, they fixed that a couple of seasons ago.
