Marker jesters?

pricey, but probably the best marker has

but i watched my friend blow up a pair on an innocent 30fter last week so my trust is shaken.
 
So far, I like mine. They are a little heavier than I was expecting. But, that's certainly not a bad thing for what I have them on.
 
got a couple friends that ride em, they have held up to all park...and i really like the way they look (haha don't worry looks to make my decision) just saying they look cool
 
i like them, im coming from fks and it was wierd i had to ride my din a little bit higher, like 1-1.5, then on my fks. Brakes sick though, but busides that they are fine with me.
 
i love mine a bunch. They are a lot lighter than any other binding, besides the sth imo. no release problerms, and they have a huge din range. 6-16!
 
I got a buddy that is always pre releasing in them. i'm not a fan of them. reminds me alot of the look of the line reactors minus the 10 pound "suspension frame."
 
come on now stas, how many times have i told you, that when ppl fuck with their own bindings, they aint gonna release right.
 
I have the dukesa and although they are a little diffrent from the jesters I know I wouldent buy them for a all alpine binding. Get a fks or 120 rossi or something if you dont need the fks...
 
best binding i've ever ownd. and ive had s910's s914's fks12 and some marker joke ass binder but this ones nice as fawk.
 
i really dont like mine. forward pressure is right. din at 11. I pull them off when i do mutes. they pop off randomly sometimes. I landed to far forward in deap snow right ski released, left didner. fucked up my left knee. I took them off for some fks.
 
Or they are just a shitty binding. I don't see why you are trying to defend a binding that is mediocre at best, while costing a shit load.

So save your money and go buy some look or rossi. If you really need a binding to hold you in go get some s916's off of ebay or tgr.
 
no i think they just suck. idk maybe they are fine if you just ride park but overall i really dont like them
 
really? what were you comparing them too? i picked up a jester and a axial 120 at the same time and i found the jester to be lighter. there are real statistics out there on that so i'm probably wrong but i was actually surprised how heavy the axials were.
 
I was thinking about it, people will say they suck, when they here one case of a broken jester becasue of a prebuilt bias against marker but the kids a ski with break px/axials 5 or 6 times this year and we still like our bindings, it just depends on how they are skied by the skier and in the rare defect binding. We just need to grasp the fact that park skiers will wreck there bindings sometimes, we put more stress on bindings in ways that engineers could have never guessed and well shit happens. 
 
I have mine on a pair of Seths and have them set on 9 (I'm 5'6 130). I have never pre-released, and they have only come off when I want them to. I couldn't be happier with them.
 
Keep your eyes open i picked up the last set at skis.com for 260 *NICE!!!!* I've ridden them once on some surface watch life's and that was fun as hell, rode in the 8 inches snow 7 springs got this past saturday, and i had a freaking blast. All day..... never came out of them and they are set to 8.5 and of course had them release tested when i got them mounted. But def an excellent binding, but again, haven't released out of them yet, which kinda scares me so might have to lighten the din....... yes lighten the din on a set of markers i said it..... i'm 215lbs now and 6ft, def burley. Just seeing them you can determine this, and the whole weight thing........ i had a set of 172cm atomic triplets with 73mm waist (now for sale btw $150) with Look nx10 bindings (very light) and i compared them to my Longer and wider watch lifes (183cm 90mm waist) with the marker jesters, can't say that they are much heavier. My friend just got 171 (i think, it's def low 170's) T-Halls with PX15 bindings and they are heavy as fuck. He couldn't believe how light mine were. So if you get a chance to find them that cheap GET THEM!!!!!!!! Just my 2 pennies, so take it how it is man
