Marker jesters VS Look pivots

I am torn between two binding options: look pivots and marker jesters. I am 150, 5'9" and i like to ski everything but mostly park. Any advice would be great from people who have ridden either. Thanks

Both are good bindings, you'll be fine with either, just get one with the correct DIN range and the correct brake width. If you get Pivot 18s you deserve the broken legs you will inevitably end up with. Get bindings with your DIN near the middle of the range, i.e. if you ski with a DIN of 8, a 5-14 binding would be good, an 8-18 would be bad, a 2-8 would be bad. Brakes should be close to the same as the width of the ski's waist, and you can go a few mm smaller, brakes can be bent. As long as you get Jesters or Pivots with the right DIN range and brake width you'll be fine.

If it's for park avoid the fks the brakes are just too hard to maintain. Personally I like the jesters but they have quite a high stack height. Personally I would look at attack 13's if you are on a budget and sth2 13 if you have more to spend.

I would go attack over jester simply for the lower stack height. But yeah sth 2 should be first choice.

I had a pair of junk Solomon bindings (like s710 or something) and they where god awfull the worst bindings I've ever used. I know they where junk carving ski bindings, but the STH newer Solomon's are legit? I haven't had much experience cause I haven't owned a ton of gear but I'm a little scared of Solomon.. Is this bad?

The s710 is a binding which is really just meant for beginners. I can literally walk out of a pair of them on the flat and there is no way I would tak them in the park. The sth2 13 in compassion is the binding used by all the salomon and atomic team And also a ton of other pros who just choose to ride tHem. They are super durable and offer a great boot hold meaning you can often ride a slightly lower din then other bindings which is always nice. Overall I think they are a good choice for any aggressive skier.

I have STH Driver 14s and STH2 16s. The Driver 14s have been on my daily drivers for the last few years. I have never had any issues with them. Very solid bindings.

Used to have a set of those on my instructing skis haha, worst binding ever conceived although who am i to complain when they cost $30.
